The anaconda can grow to be nearly the length of a school bus! What intrigues you the most about these massive snakes?
Nat Geo WILD everything. Snakes are pretty cool animals. Kind of like with sharks I'm pretty scared to encounter them in the wild but still fascinated by them.
That they can eat us....
We are yummy food to them
THEY MAKE GREAT CONCEPTS FOR MOVIE IDEAS.
Their strength is on a god-like level.
That baby anoconda was like "thanks for giving birth. bye"
Vishal Konwer thanks for laying eggs not giving birth
@@thepuppetsgamereviews2321 Did you even watch the video
HAHAHAHA
They don’t lay eggs, their eggs hatch in the womb and they give live birth. They eat the eggs and dead young for nutrients.

Didn't know the babies are born self-sufficient...WOW!!!
It's only common for mammals/birds to have off-springs that needs to be taken cared off.
Most members of Class Reptilia, with the exception of the Order Crocodilia, do not provide any sort of parental care, either after laying the egg or the egg hatching.
Ikr same here
Wow that's kinda different a young can live on it's own without no help from its parents crazy fascinating indeed
Actually, placental reproduction is the thing that is more different, as it evolved last, but in the long history of Life, reproduction of fully developed young and lack of parental involvement that is typically seen in reptiles, fish, arthropods and amphibians is and continues to be a mainstay of reproductive methods. Birds (though not placental) and mammalians evolved much later than other Classes within Kingdom Animalia. From an evolutionary standpoint, it is more apt to observe that parents staying behind to spend more time, energy and resources in raising their young is, for lack of a more proper word, "crazy" than parents who produce young capable of sustaining themselves once they emerge from the egg.
Babies? Those “babies” look bigger than most snakes where I’m from 😂
Imagine if human being born that way and our mom ask us "go and find your food!" LOL
Ooooh dear ))))
It's more like "go and find your food, or you will become my food"
Hahahaha would raise a species of savages.
splinter360 would eradicate the species entirely 😂😂 human babies are literally helpless at keeping themselves alive
😂😂😂😂
That anaconda has some serious wounds on its body
Well that's the wild for you.
tis a flesh wound, nothing to worry about
they prey on the largest rodents in the world, capybaras, if you know what a rodent's teeth can do, you must imagine what a capybara's teeth can do ...

@Jason Morth wut? It’s the snake that i find disgusting not that it eats meat?! Didnt really get your comment there mate...
I found it fascinating, I don't see how so many people don't like snakes. I love all of them.
Just to clarify, they generally don’t reach 30 feet. I believe the longest one recorded was around 27-29 feet in length, and that’s not even all that common. Typically, they are usually between 17-20 feet at most on average, but do continue growing throughout their lifetime. The females are also the ones to get that big, with the males usually topping out at around 9-15 feet, depending on their lifespan.

Just to clarify, did you really find it necessary to appropriate the narrator over a foot of difference. 🤓🤓🤓
Its just crazy cuz even that is not that big just trying to picture how big a titanboa is I cant even imagine a 50 fpot snake that weighs over a 1000 pounds there head mustve been huge asf its just terrifying cuz the anaconda puts me in sheer awwe i really couldnt imagine a 20 25 foot longer snake that weighs 500 more pounds then the anaconda 😮
They just found the largest one on a construction site 33 ft!
I’m terrified of snakes, idk why I’m even watching This

LOOK AT THAT WOUND!!!!
Great job NatGeo, you can't even show footage of anacondas without tossing in footage of a completely different species that lives in another part of the world. Bravo

ur just sexist
That was a mistake on our part, but we have fixed the error. Thanks for watching, thedarkwolf25!
It was a mistake. Geez.

Boaman5435 TheAnacondaLover Ye they are both beautiful but in my fav animal list Green Anaconda is number 1
Green anaconda holds world record for longest snake @ 36'. Also heaviest. Reticulated and rock pythons hit 30' regularly, and are not as hard to find as anacondas are due to being in far more accessible parts of the world, so more examples exist. Educate yourself before you open your piehole next time

Great video - I caught these in Peru amazon amazing snakes took us over 3 weeks to find our first one. The anaconda in my profile pic was a female at about 14ft.

When I saw that female anaconda give live birth, I got goosebumps... Felt like I was watching the movie Alien...

Anaconda: hold my meal!
When she said their eggs hatch inside the mother I was like “that’s crazy!” Then I remembered that I’m a mammal our females do that too 😂
Very interesting and with detail and full of information.
Everybody knows here in Brazil that jaguars are not in anacondas menu. In fact, there is a footage of a colombian jaguar dragging an anaconda out of a river bank.
What a beautiful animal
They really are, I'm surprised that they are not Brazil's national animal.

That was one big anaconda you guys filmed
Constrictors don't cut off blood supply. They cut off oxygen supply. As prey breathes, while coiled up by a snake, the snake constricts more as the prey exhales and contracts its lungs...limiting its ability to expand its lungs to breathe again.
That's scary
