Just switch out the insoles. The orange ones are more for casual, usually barefoot wear. The on the clock insoles were made to accommodate dress socks and socks in general.

Great video - I searched for a comparison review between these two models and found yours. I currently have the Neria Pro II for women, and hated the way they became dull in color after wearing for a while. I found a liquid polish that you apply like you would on tennis shoes, allow them to dry, and they become deep black, high gloss. No buffing needed. It may deepen the black color of the LiteRide. There are many high gloss products available, such as the Kiwi Military Shine Polish, for example.

Try SAS shoes. They are pricey, but extremely soft leather, made in Texas. They are the best shoes I have ever owned. I believe they are about $250? You can, or at least you could, have them resoled. They are not fashion statements, the insert foot bed is replaceable by SAS brand. They come in extra large aka wide sizes. If you stay away from slip ons, boxy toe area in most of the lace ups. Just great shoes. Really good if you have a job where you stand all day or walk.

So I had plantar fasciitis start in my right foot at the end of 2019 and threaten to start in the other after that and I had to stop working completely about 1.5 years later because of persistent chronic pain in my foot/ankle area which was coupled with the onset of full body chronic pain caused by hEDS. I'm starting to get some extra energy back, as in just a bit more than enough to do my basic daily needs--the fatigue is real--after taking the last 2 years off to grapple with how my disability has affected my life and how to work around it and the like. The disability money isn't enough to be able to save any money or create any sort of cushion so I'm looking to use my extra energy in a really part-time service job; I used to work in kitchens but I don't think I could commit to that workload again so I'm heavily leaning towards either waitressing or cleaning. The only problem is I can only wear crocs (I just have a traditional pair) because any other type of shoe overheats my feet immediately. I typically wear them barefoot too. Cold helps numb and relieve my excess foot pain; I can stand in rivers or get blasted in the feet by ice water or just wear them in winter and it feels great. But conversely, heat is the worst thing ever for my foot pain and really really ramps it up. I really wanna make the right decision with what pair of work crocs I try and get but I'm a bit torn on what's available and hoping I can get your opinion. I'm leaning heavily towards the Bistro Pro Literide crocs because of the super cushy sole you were gushing about in the video; it seems like it would really appease my feet. However I'm worried about the lack of ventilation in those ones as compared to the Specialist II Vent Croc. But the issue with the Specialist II is that it lacks the non-slip feature that I'm sure would be necessary in any restaurant or pub setting, plus it doesn't have the extra cushy footbed. However that could also mean it would last longer; do you think the literide footbed would run its lifespan relatively quickly (2 years or less of consistent use)? Assuming the ventilation holes in the sides aren't prohibited by the place I end up at, I'm thinking of just carving them out of the indented areas in the Bistro Pro Literide to keep the ventilation going so that I can actually get through those few hours of working with minimal pain lol. Sorry I know this is a lot but I wanted to provide as specific of information as possible just to ask, what's your opinion on this? Is the sole worth the lack of ventilation? Thoughts on the only croc with an adjustable heel strap(the Bistro)? If I get the Bistro croc and decide to keep it and violate it by cutting holes into it, would that be the best option, or do you think it would mess up the structural integrity of the croc too much if I did that? I also read a review where someone said the side ventilation holes without the front or top ones made their feet superheat faster than if there weren't any ventilation holes at all, which was worrisome, but there was only one review like that while multiple others praised the side holes for the relief their feet got from the heat. Thanks in advance if you do get back to me with your thoughts on this :) peace

Oh my god claire, i think it's just EVIL that he never got to you l, but i can put in my two cents. I owned the specialist 2 vent from around 2016, and i can tell you those are really comfortable. But i was a really active person back then, and those things held up really well considering they were basically bedroom slippers. Almost 2 years of daily use and they were great! But then they started to shrink from use, the actual material was starting to flatten on all sides, especially the sole. So i had to stop wearing them as i was too used to crocs comfort( take note of that). So after alot of sole searching, i settled on the swiftwater deck clog, as i was going into landscaping, but still wanted to retain the famous crocs comfort with water compatibilty. They. Were. FANTASTIC! They did everything i wanted and a little more! They were thick enough to were bumps on walls corners, chair legs, soccer balls, and yard tool edges would simply bounce off with no damage to my foot! Which was a problem with the specialist vent. And they were JUST thin enough where the thickness wasn't cumbersome! The undersole traction was significantly better in non slip than my last pair, which were supposed non-marking, water "parting"(yes, literally supposed to part the water like moses so that it could step onto completely dry land) which maybe worked in the beginning, but quickly became only a selling trick. The problem was, as extremely breathable as it was, anytime there was any form of liquid introduced near my foot, I'd have my shoes squeak if i even wadled, or if i had the strap on it's loosest setting, i would slip, yes literally slip like that video of that guy practically jogging on ice trying no to fall, RIGHT INSIDE MY SHOES. Wearing socks(trust me, when you get used to crocs comfort, you'll even want to take them to formal occasions ;) almost always got ruined, but at least would mostly absorb the liquid, but I'd have to literally bring an extra pair or two of socks just to use them without feeling damp. So when i used them to a point of severe wear(that's how much i loved those clogs) i looked for a closed toe pair. I was looking for some that could at least survive a few inches of water and be splash-proof, so i got the on the clock crocs. Let me tell you how uncomfortable those were, the sizing was too big but too little to fit me correctly, even with socks on. The mouth of if was a pain to don and doff, because it was too small to fit your toes in, then your HEEL, but difficult enough where i had to buy or use a couch to push off of my shoes, cause if used my other shoe, I'd just leave food residue on the lip because the non slip sole always ALWAYS gets full by the end of the day. So thankfully i experienced these problems within the 30 day return window, and tried the bistro pro literides because of all the reviews and videos on how fantastic the literide sole was. When i got them and first tried them on, i actually thought they were harder than the vents. But actually trying and walking around with them, the felt like clouds on my feet. The difference was night and day between the literide and regular. But weird thing is, i actually preferred the vents, i think mostly because, even though i wasn't very active as much as i once was, i preferred a grounded and more strongman stance, as for delivering maximum power in tools or in whatever activities i was experienced in. But with time, i grew accustomed with it, and appreciated very much the double-sided double-locking heel velcro strap on the bistro, as it allowed me to lock in as much as i wanted wether i wanted to play a sport or go into the pool!(i can literally jump into a pool with these strapped in and won't slip even a bit because the non slip outsole grabs onto the pool floor too, i always won the piggyback pool noodle fights;)as the deck clog was only one sided, and although good, it would push my foot into only one side of the clog, making me having to adjust to an awkward gait, like a trex not used to the size of his feet, or a very new and fresh clown. I think the the bistro pro literide clogs are the best wholly enclosed adjustable strap eva clog currently on the market today! The only way i could see them improve it is to make it slip on like those kiziks on tiktok with a double adjustable heel strap tucked away at the back of the heel for if you ever need extra adjustment, and a springstring breathable top mouth, like some winter uggs do. From everything I've learned, feet sweat is just an equation of local temperature, and if you really want, you can buy moisture wicking socks, and carry a gym bottle thats vacuum sealed with really cold water and just pour some in there from time to time when it gets too hot, as i think opening the holes will just invite some icky stuff from the restaurant floor into your shoes, although they won't structurally weaken the shoe. I hope this info gets to you in good peace clairez, ok bye! 👋😘

Did you try to swap the insoles for both crocs and would they fit?
How is the sizing compared to a regular crocs?
I am size 12 on a regular crocs clogs but size 13 on LiteRide Crocs Clogs. Would a size 12 do? Thank you 🙏

Hey bro! You would be able to swap the soles, they would fit. As far as sizing I got a nine for my regular Crocs and a nine with the lite ride. The lite rides are a little bit tighter but they still fit me fine. If you want it a little bit snug I would keep the same size but if you want it a little bit bigger I would choose the next side up. Keep in mind though that the next side up might be just a little bit too big for you. Hope that helps!
