I cleary remember this music from the "port mission". When that sound at 1:40 started I always stopped what I was doing and began to look around with shivers down my spine.... that mysterious sky, the dark shadows of the port in the background, I always felt like I was witnessing something magical, like if a little secret of the universe was unveiling in front of me.
@@BardiXOfficial was going for this run, silently taking out guards.. Getting shot at after killing a sailor, which was sort of my plan. I run to get ready to kill boris next to his car. Then the game crashed
H2SA improved a lot over C47 and refined many mechanics that came to define the franchise in the later years. Yet I feel it is not a good game for purists. It annoys me to say the least.. C47 and Contracts are a lot more closer to my heart, and I find myself replaying these games regularly. H2SA I would never touch again lol.
@@rorschach9969 True. I have recently completed SA. St. Petersburg missions and the first Japan misson were awesome. After these ones it looked like game became bugged as hell, and AI started openly cheating
Are you telling me, since November 2000, that I am the only one that hears the law and order sound effect? Albeit it hits once and has some reverb, but that sound is unmistakable.
Sure is one messed up place, Hitman's Netherlands. A bit of a shame that dwarf never showed up in Contracts, though the SWAT team infiltration is a bit nice.
Listen this with earphones (air pods if you are rich) It is even more creeper, roaming around at docks of Rotterdam, find the ship was very difficult. (3:20) why do the strip club music plays, it does not play while roaming around the docks.
because this is the soundtrack. the game likely had code that only played certain parts of the soundtrack on a loop to save memory. the game came out in 2000 and many older games have memory saving techniques like that from back them where they would reuse the same sound bite but edit it to be something else to save a few MB.
@@Recon-cv1fe Hitman's new game is similar to Code 47, why? because the game is divided into missions and each one has its respective history, just like Code 47. Now, in music it is mediocre.
Darkest and Moodiest of all the songs in the game. This Song creeped me out first time i played the game.
My favorite Hitman in terms of music.
hey i came from the future and i will tell you the new music is trash compared to this.
some guy is working on a project of a remake
he is going to add a remix of the c47 theme
its pretty good but i think contracts is still the best one
@@jaybish1239 Any news?
I hated these missions at first, they were fucking hard, but I finally learned to beat them. Great times

Best part starts at 00:00
Hitman Blood Money is probably my favorite overall game in the series, but this game probably has my favorite soundtrack.
i think contracts has the best ost's
Silent assassin has got to have the best ones
Can we all agree that
Jesper Kyd makes the best
And codename, silent assassin , contracts , blood money were all his doing
So chill y'all
@@ajjahabi you chill coomer, we're just debating opinions not arguing lol

"he's in the engine room!"
Not gonna lie, Arkadiy Yegorov looked terrifying in the loading screen.
Yea
When i was a kid this mission used to be the hardest mission of all missions in all games 😂
Childhood memories 💔
I love how old games just throws you into the map with little to no info like "figure out yourself kiddo, I've given you a name and a silenced pistol"
It wasn't that bad. The only difficulty lay in the prediction of the train route. It was a good opportunity to shoot a little with uzi.
I NEVER would've been able to beat something like this when i was a kid lol. I didn't play this game until i was in my 20s and even then i struggled
Мой любимый трек, в этой игре!
WARNING: Guards have been alerted by the shooting
Man he's never topped this. Yes he's done more complicated stuff but in terms of being just extremely good music these are just awesome.
*Hmmm, Rotterdam Harbour, I am not here for vacations either*
When you enter the ship and this theme (4:35) starts banging... Such a cool moment!

У меня этот момент асоцировался с гонкой, надо отключить ядерную бомбу.
who else loves music from 3:09 ???
me best song from hitman right after the main theme
All of us love it from 3:09 ❤
Jesper kyd
I do ...💪💪😎
@@travailnet3236 IMHO one of the best pressure/urgency themes in any game soundtrack ever composed... it gets stuck in your head......
The way it picks up midway through is so freaking cool.
I love breaking in new speakers to some Hitman music!
I feel like lying on a harbor and look up to the sky and remember all the good times this series brings me
I remember the night in Frankfurt railway station. The scariest place ever(
This music describes my feeling of that moment very well
I had problems to sleep when i was a kid thanks to this track :(
I think the soundtrack from The Setup is way more scarier than this one or at least for me it was and got me trouble to sleep too

Great pipes and great drum n bass mixed together.
The dockland/Harbour level took me hours to complete on the first day I tried it, years ago now.
Love hitman 2 silent assasin but codename 47 and contracts has better atmosfere and tune, I wish they could make the newer hitmans in the same style.

4:35 just perfect
Exactly, same with the hospital theme at the end of the game.
4:35 Jesper Kyd uses a sped up version of a sample heard here in Messiah - Action
4:34
Love this track. When I listened this at first time - it made me the creeps. And the fighting theme was awesome, aggressive and dynamic.
4:07 You have 3 minutes find and defuse a bomb! That part still gives me a goosebumps..
One of the best themes in a game, ever. Though that dang level. I could never figure it out.
Men of Legend and wellbeing in his era.
