The fake wands are good to give to little kids as party favors. I would never give my kids real wands until they get older just in case they lose it.

One thing I will say about the fake locket and diadem: I like the colors a lot better. You’d expect the diadem to have sapphire blue stones and the locket to be green so they’d match their respective houses, and it always confused me that the official ones (and the props in the movies) weren’t colored that way.
Why does the real diadem with an eagle have a box with a raven on it, then. They couldn't decide who to appease lol.

Severus Snape's wand from The Noble Collection is definitely amazing. I love having it as my first wand. When Alan Rickman had passed away, I was touched when my boyfriend had gifted me Snape's wand from The Noble Collection as a gift/Valentine's Day gift, I cried so hard when seeing it, holding it.

I like the diadem the best because I am a Ravenclaw, and I feel like Ravenclaw is extremely underrated. Also, there's a lot of rumors around it because it was a horcrux, but the item itself is extremely valuable!

I’ve always thought that the official Ravenclaw diadem replica should’ve had the deeper blue stones, because Ravenclaw’s color is more like a royal blue than a light blue. The color of the stones on the official replica remind me more of Beauxbaton’s uniforms.
Nothing says high quality and realistic like a nice golden trademark and copyright stamp in an obvious spot. 👌😏
I've been tempted to scratch the trademark off all of my wands numerous times lol.
@@codysmith3084 I don't blame you one bit. Everyone keeps talking about how Noble Collection is the pinnacle of wands and replicas. That may be mostly true. But you get a big ugly trademark for your trouble. This is why I make custom hardwood wands. And they look 100% real. And there are many wand makers out there. No trademark ugliness anywhere.

I really appreciate your video comparing the real vs fake. Even though you point out how items are fake you never trash the obvious fakes or make your viewers feel like if they can’t afford the authentic items that’s not good enough as a fan and even gave helpful tips on buying used.

I love wands, can't get enough of them and a few months ago I bought a fake or unofficial replica of George Weasley's wand (one of my favourites) from ebay an I was chuffed to bits with it it came in a beautiful box and the quality of the wand itself was brilliant and best of all it was a 3rd of the price of a noble collection one at £10.99

For the people who want to buy real hp stuff but don't have the money i highly recommend second hand hp stuff. You can easily find new or almost new stuff for cheaper.

Great video Peter. It was really eye opening to see the difference between real and fake harry potter products and good to know that WISH isn't a good way to go. I loved Lucius Malfoys wand from Noble Collection.
Another way I've gotten a lot of hp merch is from packs and combo things. My tie is a authentic but it cost me less that 10 dollars so always look of for packs/combo things at target or walmart.
My big secret is to check Walgreens of all places right after Christmas. Seriously, on Dec 26 get out to Walgreens. I got several items this year half off right after Christmas.

Great video as always! The Wish versions are really only good for kids or cosplay, like you mentioned, especially if the cosplay will be pretty active and there's a chance of damaging your outfit/accessories. I have Luna's wand from the Noble Collection, and it's so beautiful! I also have a nice Time Turner replica, made from real gold, but I'm not sure where my husband bought it for me. I used to wear it often as an actual necklace until I found out I'm allergic to gold. Now it's just a beautiful display piece. Luckily it came with a gorgeous box for display.

I ordered an elder wand from Wish last year which is an exact replica to the noble collection elder wand. It pretty much depends on which option you choose on Wish combined with the reviews

I actually have the diadem from wish, and I glued a comb to it on either side, as well as some other adjustments (added different stones) and it looks and fits great!

I want to start collecting wands. What “brand” would give me the best wand so that they go into a nice set. Also, would you recommend the pre-made sets, example Dark Wizard set from Noble or just purchase them individually?

ThePotterCollector I have a question I collect Harry Potter wands but I like to collect them at events that I go to as souvenirs as oppose to just buying them online. I have noticed that some wands a only sold at certain locations for example Moody's wand is only sold at the Wizarding World parks, is there any way to find a list of these location only wands? It would make deciding what wands to buy when I go to these places easier. Thanks!

You talked about the different tiers of wants from Noble Collection... I understand the difference in packaging and price, but is the wand the same for the different tiers?
When it comes to ties even in the authentic ones the material and colours vary. I live in the uk and the tie from the Harry Potter studio tour vs the tie from the shop at platform 9 and 3/4 look and feel very different. The colouring and material used are not the same. Both are genuine authorised but the one from the studio tour (the lockhaven one I’m presuming) is so much better.
emily cheetham Yes, there are different companies that make the ties and the colors definitely vary. Lochhaven is the true “real” one to most people as they’re the ones who made them for the movies. None are bad options though.
The Potter Collector no none are bad however many use inferior material. Due to the thickness or stiffness they just don’t tie so well. The lockhaven ones I think use a silk blend so give a tighter smaller knot when tied and sit better round the neck.

I’ve got snapes from noble collection and Lucius Malloys cane wand and they’re so good 😊
So I recently purchased a new voldemort wand primarily because I wanted one in an ollivanders box as my original cane in a window box.
The original is s14 and the new is s21 and there are some slightly differences,
The s21 has a matt look instead of the original gloss, it has a more rounded tip and other parts look a little smaller and its also 5 grams lighter.

Items like the coins would be great for Instagram photos. That way the Noble Collection coins could be left in their display case. I might take a scroll through the Wish HP items to see what I can use for photo props. Thanks for this video. It was interesting! 👍✨
The diadem is my favorite as well. Though I am a Ravenclaw. I have been trying to save my money for the real diadem. My friend bought the fake one on wish and it broke in half when she tried to bend it a little. So when you started to, I was like eeekkkkk! 💜
I have a plastic toy version of Lucius' Wand from 2007, think it's a Hasbro thing or something it was the ones you could battle with and it's actually pretty good looking. Came with his death eater mask too but I no longer have it.
