Amplats to demerge from Anglo American

Anglo American Platinum has delivered earnings before tax of R12.3
billion, translating to headline earnings of R6.5 billion for the
first six months. It lso emerged that the firm is contemplating
listing on the London Stock Exchange as it will soon demerge from its
parent company. CEO Craig Miller says the process to demerge has
begun.
