    Wonderful review!
    I understand that it's a 4k30p monitor but what happens when you record in 4k60p on your camera, what shows on the M1 - does it still transmit? Thanks!

    Thanks for the review! Do you know how many bits this monitor is?

    I’d love to see how the monitor performs outside in sunlight. Also, I’d like to see how it performs trying to use it as a director’s monitor for pulling focus.

      It’s a 1000nits which in sunlight is fantastic, same as the atomos ninja V though the black magic monitors are 2500.
      As it has independent focuses assist it would work pretty well as long has you have a good connection/LOS, but my experience in that area is pretty limited unfortunately

    I recently purchased this monitor and sadly I can’t say I’m having an experience you’re describing here. I can see they stripped down the mobile app to entice you to purchase more monitors. the distance before the app cuts out is incredibly short compared to advertised specs. also while the monitor itself is colorful and bright it seems to distorts the image vertically by about 10%.

      I 100% don’t have any image distortion, and would maybe suggest trying that on a different camera just to check, and make sure you don’t have any anamorphic settings turned on.
      And the app is very dependant on LOS, how far are you getting?

      @@ThomasBusbyPhotography I typically film on a canon c70 but i will try on the c200. No anamorphic settings on. I can go one bedroom over before the app begins cutting out. That is after having the app find the strongest signal.

      One thing to be aware of is that both hollyland and my self state that for the app it requires LOS, next bedroom over I assume means through a wall

      @@ThomasBusbyPhotography Yes for line of sight it may work very well, but if clients are one room over and it barely holds connection then it becomes useless it a lot of scenarios.

      Very important to be aware of before purchasing any Hollyland system

    whats the delay like for the transmission like ? good enough for focus pulling?

    • @ThomasBusbyPhotography
      @ThomasBusbyPhotography  Před rokem

      Need to stress is very line of sight required, but yes with focus leaking on the delays very minimal, but like I said 100% requires LOS
