He Is a basso but not a basso profondo
He can't hit a D2 with a good volume, so he Is not able to hit a powerful C2 .
A real basso profondo can hit C2 and also B1 or A1
He has a beautiful voice (really beautiful) and he is a good basso, but not a "Profondo" One

This is natural voice. If you check the notes hes singing, it can be sung from every bass singer, difference is that his voice has so much volume and power.
