AANHPI Spotlight: Priyal Sahai

Priyal Sahai (she/her) is an Indian-American singer-songwriter, actor, and dancer. She is a college student living in New York City studying drama and public policy at New York University, but originally from Kirkland, Washington!
Being a South Asian creative has been hard, with such minimal representation in the media and most representation encompassing specific stereotypes. At the same time, that is what forged such a rich Asian American artistic community; collaborating and creating with them is what drives her to continue forging a path for the other brown kids at home waiting to feel seen by the screen and stage! That mission is only possible with the support and tireless work by organizations like GZRadio (endless love to their team).
