I was told wear a wig or my child will not be accepted my respomse was then i do not accept them.i wear a hat or a scarf to fully cover my hair.
I see the wig as hypocrisy.
They are expensive so now wasting money on vanity is the antithesis of judaism.
I do not want to hear about synthetic because i see that as a cheap bird's nest.
So my children are in yeshiva and my hat or scarf is fine.
It is a shame the content of a person is not considered.
Only superficial appearances or if you own a computer or tv.
I know peoole who had tv and guess what?
Their children grew uo and made aliyah; year to date they live in tzfat
and are married with wonderful children.
I think it needs to be considered that some use a tv to hook up a dvd player to watch kosher dvds.
Not everyone uses a tv in an unkosher way.
Some have filter tv with parental controls.
In the end we all answer to Hashem.
I am not interested in tv but if i wanted an educational show i have to use google or tv.
Unless i need the book fir the specific topic in which case i read a book.
Rav yisroel silanter wrote well on mussar but he hit upon something many forget.good middos are needed to grasp torah well.
I read igerret hagra,igerret harambam,and the works of yisroel silanter.
I can sit and learn for hours.
But i dont wear a wig and many yeshivot are obcessed over the wig.i told my daughters be smart never use a wig.
Be modest as possible and forget the wig.
I am successful because of Hashem not a stupid wig.
