Fun fact: Because the xp requirements for levels in kenshi follow the bell curve, with 100 at the peak, all levels past 100 require an increasingly lower amount, which is why the skills were leveling so fast
So at 400 ish it requires negative exp?
@@noturkill9879 No not negative. As I said, it follows a bell curve/normal distribution, which can’t have any negative values because percentages can’t be negative. Instead, it just gets to a really small value the further from the center (which is level 100 in this case) it gets. The result of this is that it takes almost no xp to level up once you get to a certain level, but it will always be a positive amount needed. It’s been a while since I messed around with the mod he’s using, but I think it was around level 500 where you could basically level up instantly.

the reason that he levels so quick is that the curve peaks at infinity at 101 and gets lower on both sides
So following that logic, he levels five times faaser between level 500-501, than a normal character would from 0-1?

I've played almost 1800 hours of Kenshi, and yet every time I play, or every person I watch play it, its always something new, different, and fun. God I love this game.

Man armour really matters in this game far more than toughness. Like I've soloed those 100 thralls and catlong with heavy weapon build wearing most protective armour the game has and it wasn't that hard. Took out like five with each swing and just barely took damage when got hit. Had toughness at just 60 or so.
As Sseth once said, " you can be a hu-man, a bug-man, a shek-man or a 500 stat-man"
This is the ideal male body. You may not like it, but this is what peak performance looks like

Stats xp is on a bell curve of some sort so once you get to a certain level it becomes easier and easier to improve. when you’re at 500 it’s extremely easy to level up because you’re at the extreme right side of the bell curve.

Kenshi wasn’t ready for 500 stat man.
This huge XP gain can be explained. Basically Kenshi XP system have weird orientation on 100 levels. Closer to the 100 - lesser XP. If you get above it for like 5 or 6 levels you will start to gain XP approximately as much as if you was 95 lvl (which is already a huge improvement) and as higher it goes up so more XP you will gain. I had a "500 lvls cap" mod and when you will get to 150-ish level things will start to get super crazy. Worth noting that it is almost impossible to reach 100 levels without external software or some sort of a mod

I remember i had a dream about Kenshi in 2017. Where i was inside of a game that i did not recall having ever played and my character was starving and armed only with a rusted iron bar and in front of me there was a huge sprawling desert. I had decided to go fight something but a Jaguar, which moved surprisingly like a Bonedog, started chasing me and i died. I then loaded up a new save, which had my character spawn with a very nice Katana in what seemed to be the only stretch of land with some greenery, and right next to me, a white temple. That dream kind of faded away with time, until one day in 2018 i was looking on steam for games that resembled Towns and Gnomoria when the thumbnail for Kenshi caught my eye, looking at the images of the game, the memories of that dream instantly came back. I got quite shocked at how closely my dream resembled the game, especially with the "Holy Sword" start, which although starts you off at bast, is closely linked to the Holy nation, and Okran's pride is the only place in the game where "Grass" grows. The UI of the dream was also shockingly similar, however it resembled more the DarkUI mod, it still had a bit of the gritty, rusted feel of the original, kind of like the original fallout.
I just felt like sharing this strange experience i had with this game, i had never seen any content of it before that dream.
