  • Dany has completely restored and modified his BMW 2002ti into an Alpina race car.
We met Dany and his son in his beautiful home in Belgium where we soon went to down to the garage in the backyard. And what do you do when you need to restore a car? Well, Dany simply built a complete garage to house his two classic BMW´s; a 2002 and an E30. And what a great place he created to work on his cars.
Dany is an electrician and a BMW enthusiast. When he bought his 2002 in 2002 for 2002€ he had never welded nor restored a car before. But he learned by doing, and what a great car he has built; true to the soul of the original and modified with great respect. You will find all restorations and modifiations specified below, and we will dive more into the modifications on Dany´s 2002 in the next video coming later this fall: "Part 2. The Details. The Modifcations."
This is our second video! We are newbies in making (car) videos, but we strive to continuously increase the quality with every video we give you. We hope you enjoy watching it as much we did making it!
This video is shot by one man using a GoPro for all driving scenes and a Sony A7iii for the rest. Cut in FCPX.

What modified classic BMW should we shoot next? Please tip us in the comment section below!

Is there any way to contact Dany - I'd love to get a video of it idling and an indication of idle rpms. The engine specs are exactly what I'm aiming for but there isn't a huge amount of info out there about the camshaft!
