I love it. Seems like more and more young easterners are trying to speak english. Morozov, Alizhan, Irakli etc.
In my opinion this will give the sport a HUGE boost, if most could speak english like Ermes for example

Not yet , remember what David did to him . What John did . In 3-4 years though.....Irakli will be the strongest arm in the 95 - 115 kg . The heavyweights are a different story though .

If you surround people with other english speaking people, sooner or later they will start speaking a few english words and since english is spoken during matches it would be good to learn a bit of english and learn certain words/sentences. It's great these armwrestlers that don't speak english, start learning it a bit.

@AkwardMemes No, he gained weight in the last 2-3 years to compete at a higher weight class and then just dropped down in the last 6 months so he's not as big as he was. He's lost like 10kg. Engin told him it would be good to go back down.
they really need to start teaching English in school in Georgia and Russia
Many eastern athletes speak 2 languages, some 3, and Americans only speak English, Americans may learn some second language

Well I also grew up with 2 languages (german and turkish), and then learned english through school/internet. He is right to criticize the education system. English is the official world language

And America never teaches Russian or anything lol. Lucky they teach Spanish and then all the kids forget after graduation
Everyone who studies in school and then in university knows English, but these are athletes and their priority is sports
