The first country seeking to join BRICS is Indonesia. As the largest economy in Southeast Asia and a key regional player, Indonesia expresses its interest in becoming a member of BRICS. With a population exceeding 270 million and a rapidly growing economy, Indonesia possesses significant economic potential. It could contribute valuable resources and expertise to the alliance. Additionally, Indonesia's strategic location at the crossroads of Asia and Oceania positions it as a pivotal player in regional geopolitics, further enhancing its appeal as a potential BRICS member.

China and it’s trade partner will discuss exchange rate for a contract.
China will insist that the yuan is worth more than it really is against an African currency.
The compromise will be to use a third currency that is widely quoted as a benchmark for the fair exchange rate .
It will either be the euro or dollar.
Now ask why in the late 19th century the US had to mint a special trade dollar with a higher silver content than the standard silver dollar.
The Spanish dollar was widely recognised in China were as the U.S. dollar was not.
Chinese would only accept the Spanish dollar in trade matters.
So the U.S. made the trade dollar heavier.

@@thomastumasang2770 France has dominated African countries, by oppressing, and controlling the resources . France left deep scars in postcolonial states like Algeria,Niger and Burkina Faso. So I think its not ok France joins the BRICS

South Korea didn’t give weapons too Ukraine and they are in BRI and uses huawei and abstains in UN votes against China. They’re the most neutral ally of US along with Turkey Hungary and Slovakia
