    I think I've seen 0-60- times 7.2-3's, so pretty quick, also it's getting a longer range with 180kw engine coming, supposed to be a 0-100kph in 6.5s. That would be plenty imo, a definite winner.

    Great work! It is the only video which the car is seen in every angle ( It looks good by the way.) Are you planning to make a video about this cars highway range?

    New subscriber here, been planning to order one here is Drogheda. Been looking on this orange or red colours as my options. I like the gray but my kids and my wife is really loving this volcano orange. Heard about the oil leaks too from the local dealer here, but they said they sort it out. I put a 10% deposit down already, just waiting for their final price for my LEAF as a trade.

      @@TheAAie Spoke to dealer this morning. He gave me back my deposit and mentioned that his demonstrator has the oil leak too. Decent honest guy. Will wait a few months and see if they can sort the issue. Maybe a rear dif issue!

    The Luxury/Trophy model does 11 kW AC charge. It is only the standard model which only charges with 6.6 kW.

    • @TheAAie
      @TheAAie  Před rokem +1

      Not the case in every market. In our market, it's 7kW across the board. That's why we criticised it, we felt they should have rolled it out everywhere. Hope you enjoyed the video.

      @@TheAAie Absolutely a stupid decision, might as well call it 3.3kw when plugged into a 16A AC charger. Crazy decision. Every EV should have 11kW 3Ph plus.

    Hi i have just a quick question i have a 162 Opel insignia 1.6 diesel but too suit my driving it’s costing me 50 euro a week on diesel. I suppose my question is would i be saving money by upgrading to this car especially with the prices of electricity in Ireland right now?
    But have to say it’s quite a cool looking car and especially love that color also that was a really good solid review on this car well done .
    Just subscribed to your channel.
    Sorry what price was that model again?

    • @TheAAie
      @TheAAie  Před rokem +1

      Good questions Col! Straight answer is that yes, it's still significantly cheaper to drive electric. Lower maintenance saves a lot as well as fuel. For example...if you pay €0.30c/kWh for home electricity you would pay about €18 for a full charge. That would do you around 350-400km in general. Hopefully that helps you compare! Bear in mind that you could pay a lot less if you get a night rate meter at home. You might also pick up free charges at work, some hotels, etc. Prices start around €27k. Around €37k for the top spec, bigger battery, Volcano Orange.

    Great video as usual! There was an issue in the MG ZS EV that the steering wheel height etc. could not be adjusted, is that the same for the MG4?

    • @potter2702

      @@thomas1brad The cause is not fully known yet so let's not jump into conclusions but the fact of the matter is, many have reported oil leak. Some say the leak is coming from the motors ans some say overfill on the diff. Dealers says they're not sure but overall, be careful early adopters.

    WTFis the trend of making square steering wheels? Honestly, that is going to be shit existing a corner and letting the wheel run through your hands. The drive selector shelf is also weird, why no just have a simple stalk like a Tesla? Where is the climate temp knob? And the volume buttons should be a knob. On the plus side, styling is good, charge port in the correct position, will be nice at Tesla chargers.

      The EU trophy/“luxury” model lists a heat pump as standard so maybe we’ll get an option later in the UK? Cost saving vs average temps in the UK I’d guess. Far more critical in the snowy Nordic’s vs the UK.
