Because he services his own equipment when required and fixes all the equipment that he can to save money, his c hopper has been paid off for several years so they can keep updating their milk parlor that makes them their income and pays them their salaries . More farmers need to learn from hi a family farm I stead of buying new equipment every year. Several get new equipment loaned to them every year, but An d y doesn't seem to for some odd reason. Maybe he is too political correct for these tractor comp as nies.

@@michaelolenick4078 I don't think it's because he's PC correct, I think it's more along the lines of, that chopper works best for him and helps his cattle produce higher volume and quality of milk. And, yes, a field chopper can really mess with your milk production. If you do a search, Andy explains why he prefers that 8000 model and why he keeps it going. Cheers :)

The Degelman did not fit the New Holland tractor so ended up getting the Grouser blade. Much better blade in my opinion. Seems to be a little more clearance room on the frame underneath.

Another great breakdown video! At some or what point would it make sense to either carry a manual hose press and some common hose and fittings on the army truck or set your hose press and supplies on a pallet that could be easily and quickly loaded into the army truck for field repairs? I'm thinking 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 5/8 hose and 4 each straight 45* and 90* fittings plus a couple of hose splices, or whatever sizes are most common in your fleet. John Deere Jake might be the man to get some advice from about the most common hose sizes and fittings to carry.
Back in my younger days as a forklift field service tech we carried a manual pump (Porta Power) hose crimper, hose and fittings for the 3 most popular/used hose sizes and fittings, you can't carry everything like you stated but the common stuff will save the day probably 75% of the time.

Simply because deleting is illegal and if they work and your caught later deleted they can be held responsible including fines
