- Got to Dillard's carpark at 6.30am to video the blown Pro Street cars rolling in before their cruise to the show. This time they were joined by a street legal Funny Car!!! on Saturday morning 25th November 2023.

Yes around 5000 entered in the show and another 1500 in the car corral, something for everyone... 😁
A lotta old guys are driving some nice iron around.I hope the next generation takes a shine to owning these and take them out for spin now and then. Otherwise the prices will drop like a lead balloon.

Nick if you don’t mind me asking how far in advance do you book your stay. Or do you drive in to the show from a distance?
I book the hotels and hire car about 2 months before I go as these are easily cancelled if necessary, then I book the flight a week before as long as the weather forecast is okay...

I've been riding my bicycle to mall to see/hear the cars pull in for last couple years. 11/24/23,..Friday I rode out,..arrived early,..maybe 5:45 a.m. Rode across mall lot West,..through IHOP,...over to SUNOCO at ISB/Bill France. Stopped by four DBPD Officers. Mall security called/told Police I was near/looking into cars on mall property. I was never 30 yards from any shoppers vehicle. I told Police mall security cameras would prove this,....I was there to see the Hot-Rods arrive. I.D. search(clean),read Miranda rights,...trespassed from mall and IHOP? Around ten minutes after Police released me,..rode back East on ISB(disgusted),..past mall,...and saw about 30 Hot-rods lined up at mall. Rode bicycle home,..immediately called mall security. Man answering phone said he was "Head of security",...said he was one of the ones following me,...said,.."I never saw you by any vehicles",...then immediately became angry and said,..."If I see you on this property you'll be arrested"?
Called mall "General Manager" Monday. Explained the situation,...asked her to review camera footage/my "recorded" call with security,......"I never saw you by any vehicles". She said she would have meeting with security/review/,...call me back,...........over a week now,..she's never called back?
(Mall General Manager told me the Hot-Rods that gather on mall property are doing it,..."illegally") Be careful next year.
