The cobbles are exactly what you needed, ready for the winter. They look perfect; Petherick perfect in fact. The family working together is marvellous, you work well together and you have Ernest to make sure it is done right and Sadie doing her indispensable tea making. 👍

I am amazed at how strong and fit your father is. I think it was Sadie that posted the photo of your parents all dressed up for the wedding and they both looked fabulous. I was not blessed with a close or encouraging family, you and your siblings are among the lucky ones to have such wonderful parents!

This cobbled area is looking great. Gaining outdoor space and dry footing before winter is good planning. Your cottage is truly a home now. So cosy.

Hey Same here. I"m doing a small walk path way, and it's taking me months, and it's back breaking labor, but I am using bricks. Can't imagine the weight of those cobble stones.

Love this vlog, full of work and the whole family, watching Michael working. LOL JK Michael, but love your Dad, he is just a hoot. Is quiet for the most and then out comes some funnies. LOL He's still head of the household. Sadie is sooo loving, as so maternal, as she pays attention to Ernest, and addressing him. Then you can tell it's Sadie filming as she loves to add the pups. Now on to comments. I love this cobblestone area.
It’s such a simple project but it adds such a quaintness and charm to the cottage and garden.
It’s even more endearing to me because it was built by all three generations of the family. Dad, both sons, and grandson. This is a memory you can all look back on and remember fondly. (Having a vlog record of it helps. lol)
I am excited to hear about this trip. I hope you all enjoy it and have a wonderful time. You all work so hard taking care of each other, the chateau, and the various channels that you deserve the occasional break. I hope the weather is good wherever you are going and that you have loads of fun together.
