I think much of the information you gave about the Dhananjay Chatterjee case is incorrect.
1. Hetal Parekh was in 10th standard, not 7th.
2. Her mother had gone out for 40-45 minutes, not 2 hours.
3. After her body was discovered, she wasn't ever taken to the hospital. Her mother searched the house for Dhananjay instead.
4. The family told the police they suspect Dhananjay Chatterjee right after the police came (which was more than 4 hours after the body was discovered), and not after Dhanajay was found missing.
5. The jahllad was Nata Mallick, not Kallu.
There were several other incongruities in the case which suggested that Dhanajay Chatterjee might have been innocent.

When Dhananjay hanged that time I was a 12 years old kid and I followed that story so minutely that still today I remember every fact about the case.
Nata Mallik was to hang Dhananjay but he was not fully convinced that Dhananjay was guilty.
He drank so heavily the previous night, could not perform the hanging in the morning. His son had to complete the job.

1. The age of Hetal Parekh when she was murdered that 14 years old.
2. Nata Mallick was the jallad that time who execute the 'phansi'. He was from Kolkata itself.
