Love Nick's videos have helped me multiple times when i was attacked
I'm glad you brought up the mindset part, very few discuss about this important aspect.
I 've trained a long long time , I also play music in lots of bars and work in various dangerous parts of a big city . I have learned that some people , and I don't know why , are completely oblivious to body language and overall vibe in general . Doesn't even matter their walk in life , I just think that part of their brain isn't switched on. I can walk in a bar and know who's up to what in seconds . But have friends or other bands show up and they have no clue whats going on and put themselves in really stupid situations . Many times I'll see the drunk , passive/agressive guy that can't stand the attention the band is getting start to approach us to start something and I am GONE just like that . I just get up and leave and diffuse it because it's a loud bar . You have to lean in close to shout at each other just to talk and I'm not going to do that . I already watched him give us "the look" during our set and knew it was coming . Maybe some people just don't believe in our built-in instincts from primitive days and ignore them.
Thanks; you hit most of the points on my table of contents on a 1 day course I give for real self defense for martial artists. Reassures me.
HI Nick your advices are like reeding a book for solving ours problems

I trained in boxing, MMA and self-defense scenarios for three years, but it was about 2 years ago that I stopped training for fear of brain and other long-term injuries. I still have a certain fighting instinct and such, but I'm afraid I'll lose that as the years go by without training. Do you believe that even if you spend years without training, you don't completely lose your techniques and still do well in a fight?
Go to a quality gym.. the coach should have you train under controlled conditions and allow you to develop at your own speed.. learning without passing the price of mistakes.
"Me against myself" is the toughest fight of all!
Nick looking jacked
What do you mean with „to ghost“, „to shadow“? Why and how to „lower the voice?“ Can you explain this in a bit more detail? Maybe even a video on this topic? Tnx in advance!
Just to say Hi to my man Nick.
So, hi, my friend!

Nick, can you do a self defense scenario based on Nocturnal Animals movie?
I am referring to the highway scene when the guy wth his wife and daughter are targeted by 3 criminals.
Not sure what you mean?
@@NickDrossos
Wow...thanks for the reply....
In the movie there is this scene where a guy drives during nighttime with his wife and daughter on a highway and they have an encounter with 3 thugs in another car.
The thugs end up kidnapping the wife and daughter who end up being raped and murdered.
It always dawned on me as a father, what could that guy have done to protect his family.
I reached to you because you are so good in addressing scenarios like these...no b s, no bullshido, just self defense.
surprised

Turn it around.
Fight with this 👊 not with this 👄
I noticed that you keep mixing words. You go from street fight to street attack to self defense. Truth really be told, a "street fight" is WAY different from "self defense" and truth be told is that self defense should be self offense or is Self Offense in reality. A fight or street fight is two people going back and forth exchanging blows. Self defense or self offense should be you going in, causing damage as quickly as possible and then getting out and going home (there's no back and forth exchanging blows between the two). Self defense/offense is about survival and winning, that's it.
