The Chukchi who live in Chukotka , there is permafrost , very few of these people remain , they roam the tundra , are engaged in reindeer husbandry and whalers , they are the only ones in the world allowed to hunt whales , on small boats , only for food and fat , otherwise they will not survive , this song is very sad , it is a pity for the Chukchi and whales that are dying out with these people , they are as naive as children , these Chukchi , huge Russia and only Chukchi can live in this place
Just found this band a couple weeks ago, so glad you found them and enjoy them as well. I've watched you enough, Rollen, to know you'll probably get what I'm about to say. I'm still figuring out my response to Otyken, they speak to me on a level that is rarely reached, and I'm trying to understand my response, and where it comes from. I do know they speak to parts of me that have been neglected, spiritual levels that had been cut off because of deep hurt and disillusionment. They are bringing life, healing and recovery, and understanding all of it will happen eventually, but I'm not there yet. I know you'll probably get all that because you analyze things a great deal, but you also understand that some things defy analysis, at least initially, and not completely understanding something doesn't negate our experience of it. Hope that made some sense, but I felt the need to say it, regardless. For the record, I went from your first reaction to Otyken to this one, because I wanted to see where your journey ha taken you since then; now I'll fill in the other stops and watch the ones in between. FYI, you are a favorite reactor, not because you never vex me, but because I feel you don't half-ass things, and honestly, because I feel like we could talk out things we disagree on if we ever met. Officially the longest comment I've ever written. Having social anxiety, I don't do live chat generally, or comment that often. Keep up the good work.

Я считая, что смысл песни, чтобы все остановились и задумались о том, что мы разрушаем наш дом. Про осмысление этой проблемы. Жаль, что богачам с частныии яхтами и самолетами или чокнутым политикам, которые ради игры, готовы развязывать все новые и новые войны, не свойственно слушать такие песни и думать о будущем наших детей и планеты

first time i've heard about this band, nice song and reaction. can somebody tell me what language this is in? especially the intro sounded turkic if i heard it correctly but i want to be sure. couldn't find enough info on the google about the lyrics. cheers.

@@lacriss thank you for your answer. i just heard about the chulym language yesterday when i posted it. and i knew khakas is a bit too far from oghuz turkic for me to understand it. but i still understood enough of the intro unlike the rest of the song as a turkish person. do you know what language that was? i know it was not in russian but it was a turkic language (again thank you if you have any information about that or not) have a good night/day.
