So I can confirm that this works on console, or at least on Xbox Series S. It doesn't seem consistent enough to use in a console speedrun, but it's still a fun trick to get out of bounds. For any Xbox players trying to get this, this trick seems to work best if you position Faux in between the two lockers and aim the jump directly right. That way, you can kinda aim Faux toward the ceiling where the vent and ceiling panels meet.
i’m not sure if this has been talked about yet since i’m not really in the running community but on console there’s another way to set this up by turning left and vaulting onto the vent, that seems to be far more consistent from my experience
the problem with trick jumping is that the animation isn't the same as a slide jump, trick jumping will collide with the ceiling and for some reason slide jumping doesn't
i linked a tool that can be used for PC in the description, and if you join the community discord (also in the description) there are instructions on how to set up the frame limiter as well.

i can't wrap my head around why this skip lets you keep faux around for just a little bit longer but ngl i kinda love it
