Voices are way better, for sprites, I would say some other MX sprites are better, it would be better if he was a bit larger and more wider. Just to give more of that monstrous brute feel.
comparing marios madness and the sonic.exe mod is like comparing apples and oranges.
Also mario doesn’t fit as well here

This is an amazing cover, but I recommend trying to be more expressive with MX’s vocals since he sounds a little dull. Try to play around with different octaves and tones and see which ones you think fit!
