This recap is so much better than the recaps put out by Netflix! Kudos!!
Literally. When I watched the Netflix recap i was so lost. I even thought I hadn't watched S2 completely. But I did watch the whole season 😢😢 nad yet I don't remember the plots
I truly don't understand how the official recap can be such incompetent garbage when it probably cost them tens of thousands of dollars... while some guy in his pyjamas and a cup of coffee probably did this masterpiece in a handful of afternoons in his garage.
It defies belief.
@@Deehvad its bc they are forcing us to rewatch the whole thing hahaha
@@Deehvad Damn why you gotta come at the man like that.
Yeah. That recap was terrible. It was a bunch of scenes from the previous two seasons and didn't tell the viewers a damn thing. I don't know whose brilliant idea it was to do a recap this way but it was completely useless.
Man, this just shows what a mess season 2 was. The first half of the recap was easy to follow, but by the second half you can see how they jump from plot to plot.
But it’s following the game
@@Vgallo It is, but trying to wrap my head around it (again) feels tough. I've watched the re-cap yet feel maybe I need a full rewatch just to be able to watch S3.
@@AdamKDeanomg think you for saying this, I felt so dumb..already watched 2 recaps but when it comes to season two I’m just like???
@@Vgallothat's in the books, which were just been random short stories in the beginning, they just didn't tie it together well
@@AdamKDean yeah I agree
Thank you for this. Your recaps when seasons are so far apart are a huge help in refreshing my memory.
That's precisely why I'm here! Need to remember what happened before I start to watch season 3😂
omg.. mee thinking "i guess I remember the most" and than watching this, realising, I remember MAXIIMUM 30% of Season 2 plot :D:D Thank you so much for updating!
Seriously!
Recap so good, I understand the story better after this than watching the season itself
You have a gift to concisely summarize detailed information. VERY helpful, better than any other recap. Wishing you great success in this.
Bruh! How are you so good at these?!? I come here for all the recaps!!! Startes watching Szn 3 and was like....hold up! Thanks so much!
I became completely hooked on the channel after watching my first recap. Now, it's my preferred way to watch new seasons. Before any new season, I look for a summary of the past seasons here and dive into the new story. I really wish the channel would become even bigger. I make sure to like every video I watch, hoping to help it grow quickly.
you should show your dedication by only watching recaps and never the shows imo
Great recap, thanks! I had forgotten how much they built everything up & how excited I was when season 2 ended. So ready to start the third season!
another great recap. keep up the good work.
thank god for this. i think this show is a hot mess when it comes to writing and direction and episode structure but i still weirdly enjoy it? i’m just confused until the season is finally over haha
TBF the books and the game was just as bad
@@tasmayshah5539 the games aren’t my cup of tea but I have the first 2 books which I plan to read one day!
the games are a mess? you're obviously trolling 😂
@@liyannah The game was fun. Keeping up with the story and all the factions... Was a mess.
Good thing this video exists...I was so lost in season 3 (still am but it's better now)😂
Thank you so much, the Netflix recap felt more like a teaser trailer, this was so much more helpful!
Thanks man!!! Very helpful!
📌I'm trying to think why I'm so confused by all these factions whereas in Game of Thrones, I understood each faction completely and what they wanted. Is it the writing? The dialogue? Perhaps the culture and personalities in GoT are more distinct? Perhaps the character motivations are more clear? Perhaps the plot is tighter and more focused? Anybody else have the same thought?
Often wonder the same.
I think it’s the pacing. For much of early, GOT, pacing was very steady, linear, and somewhat slow. There may be a whole episode on a single faction, or at least 30 minutes uninterrupted.
Also they were more aesthetically distinguishable. Architecture, fashion, personality traits, accent.
As far as story line… if you understood who the lannisters were, and who the Starks were… that got you about 80% there. You then had several seasons to develop a broader understanding of the big picture through individual character development. You could go from despising someone to loving them in a couple of episodes.
Those are my thoughts on it…
GOT is forever unmatched
I was just thinking the same thing. Thrones was easier to follow about who was who and where they came from and motivations. Could have been the pacing or maybe I was more into thrones so made a point to remember everything 🤷
I think the same, no matter how much i try,i couldn't understand the story and their dialogues clearly
Thank you! This was an absolutely perfect recap! Continuing my watch of Season 3 now! 😂✨
Lol me too! I literally paused midway through episode 3 of season 3 cause I had no idea what was happening. 😂
@@amandawilson6540 Just started the first episode yesterday and my memory was really failing me 😂
Such a good recap. Saved me re watching seasons 1 and 2 many thanks !
Wow this was hand down the best recap I’ve seen of this show so far! Thank you
Thanks for making it easy to understand!
This is a godsend! I watched the series and had zero clue on what’s going on. Netflix should hire you to do recaps for them.
Best recap out there! Thank you very much!
Really helpful. Thanks!
Amazing recap, exactly what I was looking for.
Very helpful!! Thanks
Excellent recap. Much appreciated. On to watching Season 3! 🎉
I'm currently watching this to begin Season 3 immediately after 😂😂
Thanks 😆 I needed this recap
That's just what we needed to start watching season 3. You're bad ass! Thanks 👏🏽
🎉 THANK YOU. this was incredibly easy to follow. You got a sub!
Solid work my guy, solid work
Thank you for a great recap!
this was excellent, thank you!
Great job, dude. I was thinking if i should rewatch the whole thing again... Kudos to u.
Great recap ..thanks
Incredibly helpful, never played this series and thinking of diving in with this entry, lots to learn! Thanks for making this easier for us newbies 👏 👏
Perfect recap my man, may the algorithm work in your favor!
THANK YOU. it was easy to follow
Thank you so much. The plot is difficult to follow (so were the books, imo) so I needed this - really appreciate the details. Thank you! 🌟
Awesome recap! Thanks.
Thanks man. I couldn’t remember all this before when i started season 3.
Would've been so lost without this recap. 😂 Ty
Thanks for the excellent recap
Great recap. Thanks
Great work thanks~
Great recap mate
Thanks a lot! I couldn't remember the half of these things 😅
I couldnt even find a recap on netflix. Thank you making this! I was almost about to give up completely
May I just say thank you for going through the whole thing without a long introduction or a sponsorship add in between? It's rare to find something like this on CZcams nowadays :D
The first series was so good, I don't remember any of the second series
Wow! Amazing recap❤ finally i understand the story 😮
Thank you, we can now start season 3. Netflix catchup was useless
cool. i'm all caught up! thanks for the recap, sir.
Would just like to say that your recap is A M A Z I N G. Unlike most other recaps, yours are properly articulated, in a calm manner and not RUSHED in 2 minutes, and without trying to be funny with shitty memes every 20 seconds. Thank you so much.
Nice job man
great recap, thx from Germany (:
This is much appreciated ❤ I would've been lost in Season 3, I totally forgot all of this! Thank you so much. The recap on Netflix is useless lol.
Sir.. you rock.. keep up the great work..
Best recap of all!!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
great recap, now I remember most of it.. :) I was so lost at the beginning of S3.. :)
super excellent, thank you!
I never comment but this was an amazing recap! Thank you so much lol 😂 because I started season 3 feeling so lost it’s been so long ❤ Now I feel back in the loop
Top notch recap 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks. I had forgotten about 90% of all that lol
Thank God, I was so confused. Good job
Thank you for this, I started watching season 3 last night and was clueless to who half of the people were and why they mattered.
Can someone explain how the law of surprise? And why Gerald even takes ciri in?
Cause she was in danger
Law of surprise which states that one party must give another something that they have but do not yet know of. Could be anything, perhaps a bountiful harvest that came unexpectedly or a priceless heirloom someone was promised but hasn’t received yet. It’s always something that belongs to them but they don’t know about yet. Seems to be one method of showing gratitude kind of akin to saying someone owes you a favour. In the case of Ciri and Gerald, Gerald helped her parents get together so dunie offered Gerald the law of surprise as thanks, not knowing that his new bride was already pregnant making Ciri the gift they already had but did not yet know of. So by the law Ciri belongs to Gerald. At first he doesn’t want her because why would he want a random baby he’s a Witcher. But then as the war is about to break out, he realizes that the little princess is in danger and goes back to them to take her under his wing and protect her. Ciris grandmother at first refuses but then upon her death bed realizes Gerald may be the only person who can protect and take care of ciri just as he had the same realization earlier. So he takes in Ciri for two main reasons , one because the law of surprise made it so Ciri legally belonged to Gerald , in a place of magic this means that it was their destiny to be together whether they willed it or no due to the law of surprise. Secondly because he’s a good dude and didn’t want to see a child be murdered. Later he finds out how important she is too and this only increases his understanding that she must be protected and trained to fight
@@evemiddleton-meyer2620Thank you kindly.
A much more easily digestible recap than the one I just watched by IGN which left me more confused than beforehand
Now I am prepped and ready to watch Witcher ❤️
matur suksma untuk recap❤
thanks man
Great vid
13:50
Ok THAT was not made clear at all. I was wondering who this guy is in Season 3. He seems important but I had no recollection of who he is or was in previous seasons.
Thanx!
Thank you
It's sad I needed to come here before trying s3. S2 felt so forgettable and the fact that it isn't getting better apparently is sad.. and that's even before Henry's leave. What a fall from grace for the Witcher, such a shame
Thankyou !!! 🫶👊🏽👍👍👍
Thanks man. Useful to get myself into the right headspace for s3
BTW Yennifer didn't want the wishes. She wanted to absorb the jin. Which would have killed her.
Ooh I was looking for the explanation. Then what happened to the other 2 Wishes? Why it disappeared In the end?
Thanks 🙏🏼
Great recap. The show was so jumpy it left me confused half the time ... I am guessing that was the point but it made it almost unwatchable. All they needed to do was put a year / place on the screen when they switched timelines.
Thanks buddy
I had forgotten a lot from season 2 I just realized.
ty!
Can you please do a GOT recap please 🙏🏾 ❤
I watch this after watching season 2 (2023) after seeing season 1 in 2019. All I can say is “OhhhhhhhHhHhHhHhHhHhhh!!!”
Thank you for the recap!!
I'm faceblind, so I didn't even realize Duny was the emperor 💀
Made me cry when Roach died. Forever running🙏😞
OK show, but amazing review. You need to teach a master class in brevity. Going to watch this show only in support of Cavill.
love to see a face behind this dear voice 💚
Skillsshare journey is good in witcher loved it 🔥
I just finishing season 1, and why this recap give me more explanation in season 1 then the actual series, the plot jump really make me confused
Good recap. I searched for this before starting season 3...but now I'm thinking "Was this show really THIS stupid?" Now I dunno if I am even going to bother watching season 3.
Most of what I liked was when Henry Cavill would see some desperate situation, and just grunt out a monosyllabic "f###".
S3 is still with Henry calvill, might as well watch it it’s still enjoyable !
When the last 20 seconds make ur brain hurt so
You restart season
2
Bro i watched game of thrones between the witcher seasons and i m sooooo confused… i was waiting for john fcking snow to appear
ad ends at 7:15
CZcamsReborn takes care of that
It could be shorter. But thanks!
i was enjoying the recap then i suddenly remembered that liam hemsworth is replacing daddy henry TT im literally crying
Not me finding out I missed playhouses this entire time 😭🤣
i'm glad the recap skipped all the non-chronological bits and the side-stories/fillers...
but on the other hand, i'd also like to recap what they were... just out of curiosity xD
Nice
holy SHIT had forgot how serious this plot became
Yeah so I started my witcher journey with the 3rd game and everything in the netflix live action is confusing. Time to read lol
