Dip uses ACRYLIC powder except that with dip it is essentially using nail glue to cover your nail with the acrylic. When you get “acrylic nails” the monomer is used to make the acrylic into a gel like substance while it’s being laid down and formed.

If your nails are feeling thin, or ruined or whatever, it’s either improper application (based on the dip in the pot, I wouldn’t be surprised), improper removal (they soaked them off, so that’s good) or poor maintenance (that’s on you, not treating them properly, not using cuticle oil and not getting rebalances soon enough) nails aren’t indestructible just because you have product on them.

Dip and acrylics are the same thing just apply different ways so I would recommend a structured gel manicure
i meant fake acrylic nail… i’m just using my natural nails with dip on top
