LOVE this! Just wish they had a bit of food dye antiquing to give the pages the look of an older, loved and read book rather than being so pristine and fresh, but that’s a preference really.
An american publishing company didn't think american kids were smart enough to understand what philosopher meant and printed their copies with Sorcerer instead.
@@angela7014 nope, it's only called sorcerer's stone in the us. Everywhere else it's philosopher's. It's because Yank publishers didn't think american kids could understand/figure out what a philosopher is. Not kidding.
Philosopher's Stone is the original and correct title, it's only "Sorcerer's Stone" in America because, if I remember correctly, people thought American kids were too dumb to understand what "Philosopher" meant.
@@nemobard different countries have different first print covers. These were the covers I had as a kid, but when I came to the US (where I live now), I realised their first print covers were different when they did a reprint of them.

I always knew it as ‘The Philosopher’s Stone.’ In the US, I’ve seen both, though.
Please show us you printing out these edible covers
Line them up on a shelf, and just grab one and go to town while someone's watching.
👀👀😍😍😋
So epic
Amazing
Harry Potter books look different in america 😮
were, there any copywrite issues printing the covers then selling g them?
Wow
How much would you charge for a whole set?
You could have pranked a librarian. But it's an amazing cake
You could scam people, they think they are buying the whole set of Harry Potter, and they take it home and find out it’s cake
🤨
How did she know I have an uncle Bob?

You did so good? What is mud cake? Is that what you said?
folded the cake over and- bobs your uncle 🤓- continues talking like nothing

@@carolej339 Oh, I didn't know that. Thanks for telling me. Have a good day ahead. ⭐
In America is harry potter and the SORCERER'S stone. Not philosopher.. crazy weird
Yeah, a publisher thought US kids were not inteligent enough to understand philosopher's stone and Nicholas Flamel so he changed it
