    Thanks for your review, I totally agree with what you had mentioned in your presentation. As far as the remote starter, I was so annoyed by its performance, I had to spend an extra $ 400 to install a new one, which is working perfectly now. Thanks again.

    @xToddmcx Před 2 lety

    You should take it to the dealer for warranty service on the roof issues and wiper blades (they're supposed to slow down faster and not slam into the stop like that). And your key fob needs a new battery. I mean, if you haven't already, I'm watching this months later. The app sucks though, nothing you can do about that.

    Have you experienced any problem with starting up the car in the winter? I heard that there is a faulty/low battery voltage problem with the 2021 Rogue. I woud like to purchase the new Rogue but fear that it will not start if left sitting in winter for a day.

    • @SmokinMonkeyOG

      @anishanc6712 Před 2 lety

      I had rogue 2020 which honk when I lock from remote key while all doors are closed, which helps to make sure all doors are closed. And it will not honk if any door is open.
      Recently I bought 2021 rogue which honk always regardless of whether all doors are locked or not.

    Great thorough review! For some reason, many people didn’t have a smooth experience with Nissan but they give a lot for money. Trying to purchase a SUV at 30k but many recommending to not spend on Rogue as they have been unreliable with their CVT and resale value free falls in first few years. Would like to see how this compares to CR-V, RAV-4, and CX-5.

    It actually sounds like you have one with a problem with the head unit. You should get it replaced, although I know with company cars you sometimes let things slide. I know, I have driven company cars for 47 years. If it was my personal car, I would have had it back to the dealer and had those items corrected.

      Not just me. Since I posted about this I’ve had over 50 people tell me their Nissan does the same thing. And not just rogue models it’s all Nissan’s that apparently have this issue

  • @erichappyvideo6691
    @erichappyvideo6691 Před 2 lety +1

    That is so many very simple issue, mine is worse, last year i bought my nissan rogue 2021 brand new and it has less than 10k km im using and the shocks mount on the driver side knocking noise and i need to wait for 3 months to get the parts, i end up returning it coz i dont trust nissan anymore coz it happened to my 2016 nissan pathfinder as well and i went to dealership they said they cannot duplicate the issue. Then i went to Canadian tire, they identify that the problem is shock mount on my pathfinder and i returned to dealership shame on them their tech and replaced the shocks but it need other technicians to check their car, bad experience. This year i get Rav4, maybe less problematic.

    Yes I bought a 2021 rogue and it has been back to the dealer five times within 3000 miles. I’ve had the battery changed I’ve had it in there for complete diagnostics they were giving me every excuse the car was brought in there five times for just not starting. One day none of the controls on the steering wheel worked and the radio didn’t work so I went to the shop for that. I am currently lemon law my car. So buyer beware in the company couldn’t tell me what was wrong. One time I had a Flashlight hooked up to the USB and they said that was what drain the battery and why it wouldn’t start which my company mechanic said it was a bunch of bull

    • @SmokinMonkeyOG
      @SmokinMonkeyOG  Před 2 měsíci

      That splashguard isn’t so people can’t do their own work if they didn’t want you to do your own work, they would put proprietary fasteners there that you can’t remove not shitty clips. The reason it’s there is to keep your engine, clean from all the dirt and grime on the road as well as fuel efficiency if you really don’t like it then just don’t put it back, problem solved
