Hello! Currently in Sharetribe, it's not possible for sellers to bulk-upload listings out of the box. But it's possible to custom code this feature into a Sharetribe marketplace. This requires development skills, though, or hiring a Sharetribe Expert to build the feature for you.

Thanks for the question! Do I understand correctly that you'd like to get notified when someone registers for your marketplace?
Our two higher pricing plans include integrations with Zapier. If your email provider is a Zapier app, you can set up notifications for important events in your Sharetribe marketplace. Without any coding! You can check email apps that have a Zapier integration here: zapier.com/apps/categories/email

Can you have a multi language marketplace?

To create a marketplace, you need to know Airtable, which is not easy. So, really. You can’t build a marketplace only with sharetribe.
You're absolutely right that building a marketplace business hardly ends at setting up your marketplace website. While Sharetribe takes care of all necessary marketplace functionality (like user creation, listing creation, transactions, and reviews), there are plenty of aspects to running a business where other SaaS tools can help tremendously - like marketing, support operations, HR, accounting, and so on.
Airtable is a great product. We actually use it internally at Sharetribe for a lot things! It has a multitude of use cases that can support a marketplace business as well. However, as Sharetribe comes with its own database solution, another database tool like Airtable is not strictly necessary.
Unlike Sharetribe, where you can have a fully functioning marketplace website ready fast (as shown in this video), the learning curve for Airtable can be steep, as you say! Building a marketplace with a dedicated tool like Sharetribe is usually the fastest and easiest way to get started. But as you grow, integrating tools like Airtable (which you can do with Sharetribe, by the way, with custom coding!) can absolutely help take your business to the next level!
