not 100% sure but maybe his corner loops give more damage then the corner combo you used? not sure since they are hard asf

his corner loops don’t do more damage than the ones i used and they’re really hard so i wouldn’t bother with them anyway

Are there any okis for 214H? The one I'm doing so far is whiff 5H IAD jH, but I don't know if that's the best/only one. Of course, it only works with your back against the corner since 214H side switches, but it might be useful.

I know I'm hella late to the scene, but i just started playing this as of 5 minutes ago. Im maining ssj vegeta even though everywhere i look I hear he is the worst character in the game. This video made him look hella sick. I just downloaded this vid and im going to start practicing. Thank you
he definitely is one of the weaker characters, but that doesn’t really matter unless you play in the competitive scene
@kennypar First of all, thank you for the reply, respect 🙏. And I am practicing to play competitively for sure. It's more like I don't care how much he isn't great for competitive play, I still want to play him. He is my favorite character and his Manga color skin looks hella sick. I played MK11 competitively before deciding to jump on here and Noob saibot was my main. He was kind of mid tier kind of like vegeta here a little too honest. But shiieet I won more times than I lost. Plus I just saw a video of fenritti play ssj vegeta a few days ago and it look cool too. Also I feel it's like one of those things where if you love the character so much you're gonna play it no matter what. Like with Axceice playing Black goku since the beginning.

Just as I was planning to main him. The timing couldn't be more perfect. I'll be sure to study this.
Also, I found an interesting setup with him. If you're in the corner and use 236L, IAD, and then j.2L at the right time, you'll force crossup protection and vacuum your opponent out of the corner. If you really delay it, you can just flat out steal the corner. Obviously you should pair this with an assist, but you can do it assistless.
A couple of things to note: on some small characters, you can't force crossup protection and vacuum them out of the corner, but you can still steal it just fine. Aside from that, it seems to work normally on average height characters, but not tall characters like Cooler and Cell
i was considering adding this setup because it was already known but i found it a little gimmicky and inconsistent
