I think the squeaking was actually the sound of the pianists bench squeaking and it was amplified by the microphone that was there to make the piano louder. Cuz pointe shoes don’t normally squeak like that.
Whenever I see art I most of the time imagine dancers dancing. The fluidity and movement of any image, or even the chaoticness of its expression could be embodied by a dance in my head. Sometimes it’s multiple synchronized dancers moving their arms as if grass in the breeze, sometimes it’s two dancers with styles conflicting with one another. It didn’t matter what kind of medium it was, there is sometimes a dance in my head for it.
The essence of beauty. The lighting highlighting the ethereal movement, enhanced by the flowing costumes. The transcendental music, lifting the dancers into grace unimaginable. The fluidity of the pas de trois, flowing across the stage. What brought the most emotion, for me? Hearing the subtle sounds of the shoes, the rosin causing quiet squeaks, and the tap-tap-tapping of the feet as they moved across the floor. It brought home the fact that here on earth, we can only occasionally glimpse the wonders of heaven. Thank you for sharing your talent with the world.
Lea Morena Lucero noooo spitzen sounds are beautiful! It adds to the atmosphere, and it supports the cozy feeling of this choreography. Dont you feel like you are actually there??!!!
This performance took place in a small auditorium of opera's practise stage, not on the main stage of the theater. There were plastic chairs to seat. So you may here both : noises made by audience and by dancers. Sorry for that
Stunning, Maria! Very moving. You've done something wonderful here. Perhaps you've unlocked a new dimension in dance. It's the best melding of ballet and Impressionist music ever. Debussy is thrilled, wherever he is (and I have to think it's Heaven). Your creation has links to mythology. I will always think of you and your dancers as the Three Graces. Kudos!
would've been exponentially better solo. lets say i give the choreographer way too much credit, by saying, they represent the different phases of the moon. way too many imperfections even from that view.
We seem to have some very excited rubber ducks within the audience.
Dancer's shoes make those noises. Audience was silent.
@@anodyne57 it was a joke...
Lol I think you mean pointe shoes, they are very squeaky lol.
Lmfao

I just literally saw my two favorite things in the world. Ballet, and this song. I'm blessed.
It'S a PiEcE :P
This is my favourite piano piece as well and ballet is my favourite thing literally the same
and the rubber ducky noises too
I reread your comment each time I feel down. Thank you for keeping me going 🧡
dear women
you are such beautiful creatures.
You girls move with such fluidity and grace, absolutely stunning dancing, beautiful choreography, gorgeous music, everything was amazing!
Sophie Smith thank you !!
I feel like it would be gorgeous (more than it already is) if it was choreographed as a pas de deux
I just choreographed a pas de deux to this song without a partner because I’m lonely, haha!!!

Why won't you try to embody your imagination in real choreography?

Dear Leon, thank you for your kind words. Warmed my soul
You're completely right!!!! I love it.
Боже! Какая тишина была в зале! Мне кажется, что люди даже дышать перестали... 🥰🥰🥰
Спасибо большое за Ваши добрые слова ❤️ Перестала дышать, кажется, только я ) Так переживала за результат своей работы
My favourite classical piece and my favouite "sport" put together. I'm in heaven.
Nobody:
Absolutely nobody:
Point shoes: REEEEEEE
This could have been perfect without those squeeky noise around.

Naaah I love the sound of the ponite shoes!!!
i just love how you can hear the rickety wood of the stage mixed with the squeak of the shoes.
I was choreographing a pas de deux in my head when I was listening to this just now. This choreographer definitely did a better job 😂❤️
:) thank you!

Divno igrate balet.Asocijacija na moju drugaricu Cecu koja je jos u osnovnoj skoli igrala balet.🌸🌸🌸💌

When you can hear our feet more then music it also distracts us as dancers
Unfortunately, was no opportunity to reduce this impact, as this location is not often used for dancing
What age do you think is too old to start ballet?
Never too late! But if you want to become a professional, I would say no older than 11 years
Hehehehehhehehehehhe funny red robot man
Sorry but, the titel should be “clair de lune” isn’t it?
Thank you for pointing it out 🙏
mooie meid
Dank Je wel
shouldn’t there feet been more quiet I took ballet for years. feet are very load
loud*
The floor was very loud. Couldn't do much about it unfortunately
your here because of module HAHAHAHA

wtf wrong w the floor, the girls tryna dance
Very hard. It was done in an opera studio
boring choreography and why didnt they edit the sound to erase the taps and squeaks
One hears those sounds during a ballet performance.
