Orquesta Tipica del Tachira - To Venezuela with Love Vol 1 (CD)

The typical orchestra of the tachira was born due to the concern of a group of musicians former members of the lyre of the tachira to create an institution that would continue the work that the extinct lyre was doing, but that depended on the state as an official institution. It was created on October 1, 1968, with the vision of spreading our traditional music. It has been conducted by the Maestros José Eufrasio Medina (1968-1979), Norberto Parada Méndez (1979-1993), Ramón Ignacio Márquez (1993-2010). (2010-2015) Jesús Marino Gómez Medina, It is currently conducted by Maestro José Leoncio Ontiveros who, in the company of all its member musicians, has the responsibility to maintain a whole artistic tradition. It was declared artistic heritage of the Táchira state; It has been awarded the Frailejón de Oro, the Proyección Andina Award and the International Golden Mara.
This is his first recording in Compact Disc made under the Conductor of the Master Composer Dr. Ramón Ignacio Márquez who in 2001 concretes the recording of this work and shows with his arrangements other timbres and innovative sonorities as well as the deep treatment he gives to harmony, which was traditionally not used in this format for this type of music.
