Platinum'ing Dark Souls III is essentially just running around with a huge sword, no clothes, wavedashing all over the kingdom, destroying the strongest beings in the world like it's afternoon paperwork, and parkouring across castles to steal people's rings, all in the span of two and a half hours.

Not really, i have a dark infuses greatsword, 99 in strenght, dexterity, intelligence and faith, and it deals 798 damage, it doesn't really one shot most enemies but with the weapon art i can deal some serious damage to the bosses
Last I checked I think I was ng+ 7 maybe 11. I played too much dark souls back in the day but that was because I had a friend to play with. Not so much anymore 😕

Only AI can get you offline, and, uh... at this point, I'd have to be running an earlygame sorcerer to have trouble there.)

After a while of memorizing all of the enemies spawn and maxing out your stamina bar and pancake anything that gets in the way, this pretty much sums up the experience after so many NG+ in DS3

No lie first play through i spent almost 63 hours beating every bosses and finding all the stuff, NG2 and on it took me maybe 12 hours to beat the game at the most.
the souls games are very short, the only reason it takes so long to beat is because you don't know the layout yet. once you are done with one of these games for the first time the next time you play is 100 times easier because you know what's around the corner
I first thought Dark Souls was overrated but after beating DS3 like 4 times I played the remastered and enjoyed the hell out of it. Haven't had the pleasure to play DS2 yet

It's actually a completely different game made by the same developers. I liked DS2 but to me and most of the community, it doesn't compare to DS1 or DS3. They missed the mark on atmosphere.

I swear I speedrun through 3 unintentionally cause I’ve done all the bosses so many times, at least till I get to the dlc’s then it takes a while, curse you Midir and Gael with your titanic health bars and ability to 2 shot me!
I rather play no on new chracters. After knowing what build I wanna do and which items to get, I can finish the game beating all bosses (except champion‘s gravetender. I don’t like him). My pb is currently 4h 30mins. Although I imagine NG+ is more straightforward with not having to pick up as many items. However, no matter what I end up doing, my twinkling titanite always goes to a black knight weapon (usually the gs) to deal with demon prince, and my scales go to Artorias Gs (Eats midir for breakfast) and Hollowslayer GS (Gael after phase 1 gets obliterated by it). So if your ng+ is a quality build, consider using the holy trinity of slayer Greatswords. Fighting those bosses with the weapon they are weak against is satisfying af. Like you’re hitting Greataxe hits at the swingspeed of a greatsword.

@@Mart-E12 pretty much just for fun, all enemies and bosses get higher stats but you get to keep your build Past a certain point though you'll more or less minmax but the enemies still get stronger, so later ng+ tiers are a real challenge

What frustrates me most is having to watch my boyfriend playing for his first time and failing badly. He's like a pocket puppy lost in the wild while I'm screaming at him to pick up the items he misses xD

Even halo Infinite on disc needed internet to be downloaded, and that even if the campaign is playable offline. Its only because of online content that I'm locked out of a physical copy of a game I bought. :) Kinda wanna die

After NG+8 your slowly becoming the boss on the road to 99 one-shot stats.
