I'd love to see a supercut of Boes promising to save up some faith and then immediately spending it on Builders/Settlers
does CZcams have a cap on how long videos can be? That compilation would be pretty close I imagine
"Just one or two" *buys 10 builders*
boes: *gets a cultural alliance so he can forward settle Pedro*
Pedro: *slides uno reverse card onto table*
It's so frustrating seeing the professional youtubers predict that they are going to literally throw up, and then they just literally don't. Civ 6 is a game I know but it is that serious
Having a religious neighbor is sometimes worse than having an agressive one, your monumentality golden age becomes obsolete if you need to defend your religion
The only thing worse is an agressive civ WITH a religion, like Byzantium
That is the reason why I hate having Gandhi as my neighbour. Some Civs spam out apostles, but never actually spread their religion to my cities, I find. Gandhi, however, is different, constantly trying to convert my cities even if I ask him to stop. If religion is part of my game plan, I just tend to conquer him. It is too much of a pain having him as a neighbour otherwise.
You should rename a few units "rock band" and use them to blow up the Cree capital.
Honestly "losing" a challenge by winning a culture victory would be hilarious, literally suffering from success, it would be like that time when i was trying to get a domination win as Basil but accidentally got a religious victory instead
Combining Boes' favorite two Civ 6 mechanics: Rock Bands and Religious Victories!
Now here’s the real question. Do the missionaries and apostle to defend himself count as actively spreading his religeon?
That title really R.E.M.inded me of a song...
There is something about the cree AI that knows what winning condition you are going for, just to mess you up fr.
Idk if it was available but if you had used your last charge of Imhotep on Jebel in your capital you could have hit like 6 cities with the faith bonus from it.
I think the Cree took it last episode
Wow what a comeback!
I thought that I heard you laughing, I thought that I heard you sing
If you're getting a bunch of random wonders why not get Forbidden City? Free wildcard policy slot can only be a good thing
Alliance with the Cree? My anger issues could never.
Great game! It's definitely a challenge to wait until the late game to start your victory condition.
you sir, have a beautiful railroad.
Hey, Boes! Have been watching you for almost a year. You and Potato have been loads of help for me playing this game. Just wanted to say thank you for the uploads! 🙏
Also, couldn’t you make fleets or armadas for era score, or did you already do that?
Aww man, I ran out of Boes videos to watch.
Welp, time to hit the VOD channel.
Yeah... I'm TOO obsessed with Loyalty Flipping Cities, every chance I get, to EVER consider getting a Culture Alliance with anyone
Although it's fun to get a cultural alliance with the AI to get their cities very close to your citizens, and then switch it to another form of alliance later.
Same, thats why i love playing as France Eleanor
I always play with disasters on 1 because they are such a pain, and yet, there are still games where they pop off like 6 out of 10 turns. Whats going on Civ??
Do these kids today even know R.E.M.?
gatekeeping a song certified platinum with over 1 billion streams on spotify doesn’t make you cooler than other people
@@chrisslaughter8448 KEKW asking a question makes me a gatekeeper? dude, whatever you interpret into my comment, i suggest you get yourself some professional help. please try not to project your neuroses on other people, especially not me. :) thank you!
i’m neurotic but you use kek unironically in 2023
@@chrisslaughter8448 its literally a joke
@@chrisslaughter8448 the number of things that trigger you amount themselves quite nicely, even in such a short discourse, eh? you must be an infinite money glitch for any therapist KEKW (sic!)
9:18 - pretty confused why you took Curator when this is nominally a game about *avoiding* a tourism win.
Eh mostly because there really isn't anything else useful for me to take, and I won't win in time for it to really matter~
The droughts are from chopping!!! Choppy!
32:32 boes! Wdym! I'm literally throwing up
How much I understand this “I hate this game” )))
I can't stand the wide focus of CIV VI. Guess I am too attached to CIV V's tall play. The endless settler spam and wide management seems very tedious.
I love simming and planning cities but once the cities are set up it's so annoying having to spend 5 minutes per turn cause you just have so much crap to do, which i feel even on the few games playing wide made sense in civ5, you could at least keep cities as puppets and not have to worry about picking production constantly
These poor off-water cities need their own emotional support kilwa too 😢 great job btw, i would have pressed restart when they converted the capital 😂
we stay silly
🎉😊
Faith buying addiction at it’s worst…
this is why i dislike religious victories, not only do you have to spread your own religion, but also you have to defend your own cities as well. The way the ai works, it feels like theyre more geared to spam missionaries/apostles than any other untis. Hence i normally play with religious victory turned off.
Man, you should anihilate the cree.
Make Gandhi religion victory video 😳
