I lost respect for the Red Wings organization when the Mighty BoB Probert was let go he resurrected the Red Wings in 1987,and should’ve been on those cups in 1997 and 98.
John Ferguson would likely have beaten Bob Probert. It would have been a legendary fight but Ferguson was a BEAST when he fought. Probert same, but Fergie was just a touch tougher.
Those were sad times for generations of Canadian youth who were reared on this rubbish. Generations who paid the ultimate price so that the few can once again predate on the many.
RIP Bob. You're a legend.
