You've just nailed my mother's digestive issues in a 2-minute vid... she's destroyed her gut microbiome and suffers from malabsorption from taking PPIs for years as she has a managed stomach lining... she started taking this the other day and I warned her its not long-term. She can have Chiro as she has spinal fractures from advanced osteoporosis ... HMMMMM... how do we get around this? Looks like she may always suffer due to spinal degeneration...
Consider finding a chiropractor specialising in low force techniques that would not be dangerous to the osteoporosis

That is correct - safer but I think the misconception is that it has no side effects whatsoever because it's not a PPI.
What is the causes
There can be many causes of indigestion ranging from ulcers to side effects of hiatus hernia or even anxiety. The most common causes though have more to do with diet and poor digestive function

@@drealcharly I would recommend you speak with a nutritional therapist or naturopath to see how you could help the ulcers naturally so you hopefully don't require the need for gaviscon
