I honestly think Ed Reed should also get a statue in front of the ravens stadium. This guy and ray Lewis were THE biggest reasons why ravens defense was so feared back then, and reed put up a hall of fame worthy performance for the ravens before he retired. Respect to the living legend.
I miss the days of Peyton Manning, Troy Polamalu, Ed Reed, James Harrison, Hines Ward, Ray Lewis, etc. They played the game with a passion that seems lacking in today's football and it was fun to watch.

Best safety of all time. He was the absolute definition of a ball hawk, could blitz, lay crushing hits, and most importantly, knew exactly what the offense was going to do at any moment. When he made plays, more times than not it wasn’t just a turnover, it resulted in points. Best hands of any defensive player ever. I swear he could’ve been an all pro receiver.

Props for this video bro. Moved to Charm City in '05 and fell in love with the Ravens because of Ed Reed. Sean Taylor was my favourite player but Ed was always a close second. He was probably a more complete player because his body was still right in '04 but I believe '08 was his best year. The vision & range to read and pick off four passes against the Jags in Week 17 and Dolphins in the Wild Card was ridiculous. He went God Mode for two weeks. Literally one of the greatest play-makers in football history. He would have been a ridiculous RB or WR.
No greater privilege as a Day 1 Ravens fan than having the honor of watching Ray Lewis and Ed Reed perform each week.
