    I had a brother who had cerebral palsy. He was born years before me. My parents said he could’t even lift his hand much more walk. My parents didn’t have the means to educate themselves and resources to get help in the 70s. He died at age 3, didn’t even get to meet him. So inspirational to see Pancho live a better life because of his parents unconditional love and support and with the advancement of medical help these days. Keep going Pancho! You’re a living miracle. Hat’s off to Saab and Jim♥️God bless you.

    I was crying the whole time I was watching this. As a NICU nurse, I believe that helping families and babies in the NICU has proved to be my passion and my life-long mission.
    This story empowers me to do more and be better at my job. It's the kind of strength, resilience and support from parents and families like this that we do what we do. It's stories like these that truly showcase what it's like to care for a NICU baby after discharge; the complex issues that could arise, the challenges and the developmental milestones that need follow-up.
    I do hope and I fervently pray that in the coming years, the NICUs or hospitals in the Philippines will have more programs and support to futher the development and follow-up of babies who have graduated from the NICUs, just like here in Australia. To all the families who have and have had the same experience, please don't give up and stay strong. The Lord God sees you. You are doing your best and your children are indeed miracles who are deserving of your love. 🥰😍😭🙋‍♀️

    • @princessalexiatayag7469
      @princessalexiatayag7469 Před 2 lety +1

      @@merelynalmenario9100 it depends on the severity of the retinopathy or prematurity (ROP). Most cases po if mild lang it will resolve in itself. Pero if advanced/severe na po it may cause blindness, unless ma-cure ng laser surgery.
      May stages po kase yung ROP and the more na expose at na deprive sa oxygen ang bata the more severe it becomes.
      Sa practice po namin monitored yung mga mata ng mga babies. May opthalmologist na pumupunta every 2 weeks to check on them. Ginegrade then minomonitor if need po ng gamot, laser or need mgwait mgresolve.

    Naiyak ako sa story ni Saab. Experiencing first hand ung manganak ang wife mo ng pre term napakahirap. Everything is still fresh for me kahit almost 1 year old na ung baby namin. Everytime I visit my son sa NICU I always tell him na kapit lang anak, andito lang kame palagi ni mama nagaantay sa paglabas mo. And praise God kasi my son was also a Fighter and he recovered fast enough and still getting better right now like a normal baby na talaga.
    My personal experience is like a reminder from God na I am blessed kasi I have been thru that situation and there is nothing that will be given to you na hindi mo kayang lagpasan. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

    Ms. Karen, thanks so MUCH for your vlog with Jim, Saab and their beautiful boys. It touches my heart and I am very inspired with them. I have twins, girl and a boy. When they were born they’re only 3lbs. We learned that he has autism when he was 3 years old. Same as any parents with a special need child, I blamed myself and I tried to remember if what did I eat during my pregnancy or do that made my son being autistic. It came to a point that I got so tired of thinking too much. One day, I told God that I want to surrender everything I feel, my worries etc. There’s power in prayer coz after I surrender myself to God,, I suddenly felt peace and contentment and also I became very grateful. Also God reminded me that I’ve been praying to HIM for a child and now God gave me two. God is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, of course when He gave it always precious.

    Hello Ms.Karen.thank you for this episode.Ms. Saab you really inspired me.I've been through a lot too to my daughter admitted at NICU for 2 months.actually they are twins but only one got survived.And now she's still can't walk and even eye to eye contact.it was so hard for me seeing her not like a normal baby but you made me inspired to choose life and to be a better person.until now I keep on praying to God that please help my daughter to see how beautiful and grateful living on earth 😊

    This episode made me cry tons! Im so proud of Jim and Saab for being so great in nurturing Pancho given his condition.
    My daughter had kawasaki disease Feb last year, and up to date, we still need to monitor one of her coronary artery which is dilated. She need to take anti blood clot med to make sure her blood is freely flowing throughout her body most esp thru her arteries. Tough moment as we call being a parent for a child who has an adult sickness ina 4 yo body.
    Praying that our kids are all well. Pancho is a living proof of faith, resilence and hope.
    Karen, I so admire you for the contents that you share. The verse you quote from the bible is so uplifting.
    It is just God who has the power to put things in order in His time. Keeping the faith in Him matters the most!
