When Tom Brady takes a paycut everyone gives him love and respect. D.SMITH does it everyone thinks it's the worse ever. I get it it's his first real contract after the rookie deal. But he loves Philly!! Loves to win, knows the salary cap fucks teams over. So he did something awesome for everyone. He still got paid a ton of money. I love D.smith and I'm happy he did it to help everyone.

You're a fan. If you're a player or have been a player , you know down the line a player who believes he was hoodwinked in a deal will have issues with the deal. Players who have issues with usually will come back and ask for a new deal, especially if things aren't going well with the team. It just happened with Hasaan Reddick , it's happened with players in the past , and it's currentl happening all around the league .
You as a fan don't want to see Smith Bothered. You don't want any tension between an Eagle you like and Management.
But as a guy in media it's definitely something to point out and talk about because it's definitely is a potential concern
@bullydakidd2023 smithy has no regrets about signing that contract . His family has established a home in Philly and he understands where players really make their money, endorsements. Not to mention he has his own brand so stayin in this market keeps him and his brand on the forefront of coverage which is fee advertisement. I had to stop this interview! Jim Johnson was the face of the defense. Also, why are u talking about another man money. He wanted security for him and his family.
