Many may not know, but you can change frequencies, manually ground balance, reset the machine to factory settings, as well as turn on an EM shield. I go over exactly how to use the Quest Q20 and how all of the buttons work.

I am pretty sure they do sell a dust cover for the screen, but it is probably sold separately. There is a plastic screen cover that comes on it for free, but it only saves the screen from small scratches.
I have the q20 just a week and is first metal detector ever.
There is also wifi button on it.
Does it have any function?
Also when I am in the coin mode it does not discriminate from soda can, its on the same level.
Is this also the case with other metal detectors?
The Q20 and Q40 share the same handle, so I think the WiFi is for the Q40 model. I don't think the Q20 has any WiFi function. Also yea, you cannot discriminate cans. They are too large of a signal. It is the same with other detectors too, don't worry. :)

Sure you could use it for gold hunting. I would recommend putting it on the "Jewelry" since the TUD for gold changes depending on content and size.
I am just kind of bigginer of coin or jewel hunter. I haven’t purchased any metal detector. Now I am really excited about this Q20 detector buying.
Is this Q20 detachable from bar to bar and then put it into my backpack?
You don't need to detach it. It shrinks :) It collapses so much even a baby could use it. Haha

how is the q20 vs x10 ? worth the extra 60 euro ?
You know... Not really. The tech seems to be the same although the Q20 may have slightly better recovery speed. The only advantage the Q20 has I think is the shaft is better constructed and adjustable. The X5 is adjustable but doesn't seem to be made for small kids; where the Q20 can be smooshed down for even a 5 year old. They both can change freqs, have pinpointing, etc. So if the adjustability is worth 60 Euros then yea. If not then no way lol

I have both the X10 and Q20. The only differences I noticed are adjustability and a better looking display design. I believe in terms of frequency, the Q20 is higher, but I've not noticed any difference in my finds. They feel and react EXAXTLY the same to me, when using them.

I've got the Q20, and even though it shows a back light button on the right side of the console, it doesn't actually have a back light. I looked up the specks online and one site said that it has one and others say it doesn't. Please let me know if I'm doing something wrong or if it really doesn't have a light.
If I remember correctly, it should definitely have a backlight on the screen. I've been out detecting after sunset with mine and remembered it was a great feature.

Just i’m wondering whether the metal detector have actually good perfomance. Would you mind if i ask you to be requested to advertise Q20? If so, you can absolutely comment because this is english comment, Korean Q20 seller not seeing. How about Nokta Simplex which you are using comparing to Q20?? I want to buy the better one.
The Q20 has great performance and my review is not biased at all. However I recently got the Simplex and was blown away. I will be making a video for that this weekend. I recommend the Simplex if you have the extra money. But the Q20 performs really well, is very light, and has inane recovery speed.

@@migukaje yo great video buddy i wanna get 1, does it really weigh less then 1 kg n also is both the coil and the lcd screen waterproof? So to detect in shallow water n to use outside in wet weather?
I was thinking of buying either a hoomya or garrett euro ace but this seems lighter n easier to use, is it as good for gold detection n a better buy in Your opinion? Cheers n happy hunting!
