I enjoyed this. The camera loves Azalea and her bubbly personality and appreciation for trini cuisine are infectious...and she could real eat...and real like pepper...impressive. She's a gastronomic champion!
Please stop trying to shame this woman because she doesn't have an accent. She has one to her Canadian people-- you can still hear the slight Trini account but it's like she said she's Canadian; her parents are more likely Trinbagonian. And just because people come back home with an accent doesn't mean we are ashamed of where we came from. A lot of us left home at a young age and went to school abroad which made us more acclimated to a foreign culture. When you're young and impressionable trust me you can't use your full accent at school not only are you made fun of, people cah undastan wha de hell yuh sayin' so we soften our accent or like most of us do we transition between both. I don't fully have an Amarican accent because people here always ask me where I'm from and when I make it to Trinidad people go "how she songin' so, she not from here nah," because they hear the infused accent. But I promise you it last only a few days cuz as soon as ah open meh blasted mouth people wanna charge meh extrah for every dam ting, which geh me vex real quick. And once you develop that lazy tongue, it's hard to switch back for at least two weeks once I return to the US 😂 We Trinis are proud no matter where we go [trust me] we also made the T-shirts to prove that pont 😉
Ah does get ah real kick when are remember coolie COOLIE COME for roti to now EVERY BODY 8S AH ROTI CONNOISSEUR. All I can say is WOW, if only we could live D wey we EAT.🤔
Get with the tines. Ppl from all over the world coming here and love our food but all u could do is bitch about how she speak. U could never please a trini
Trinis doh talk like that and that is a pie not a bhaiganee! I just came from Davidsbeenhere and even the Vene in his vlog have more Trini accent than this woman smh. Bhaiganee is a melongene/eggplant sliced in less than 1/4" circles, covered with batter and fried.
I’m Canadian - so that’s why I have no accent! As for the bhaiganee, that’s what they told us it is so that’s how they make it there. Thanks so much for watching!
That is a baigan pie. The melongene/eggplant is cut in thick strips and folded into the dough. Another version is actually cook the baigan with spices and stuff the dough then fried. The round type is battered with ground split peas or flour blend. Just like sahena..baganie has different versions. They all taste great🤗
@@AzaleaHart Don't take these comments to heart Dear...there will always be haters. The change of personality was quite refreshing..and you ate all the food like a professional Trini😄
@@AzaleaHart Lovely sharing - will have to check these out when next I visit. On another note, to correct a misnomer - we all have accents, it's what distinguishes us. We don't detect them easily when we speak.
@@AzaleaHart You are doing a great job. The person selling you should have told you that they don't have baiganee but the pie version. At any rate, they have a similar taste.
So much fun!! I’m always happy to collaborate 🙏🏽

If you never ate the fried chicken from d Cabin go try it now . It's so good
Need a local accent to add that extra cultural touch. It sounds odd otherwise lol.
If you listen closely you can detect some Trini nuances - perhaps picked up from relatives or if migrated as a child.
GUL wey yuh does put all dah food......like how yuh sey CHHAANNAAA.🤣

Azalea did you eat all that food or just barely tasted it.
This lady has eaten all this food 😳 Where is she putting it
She is slim and her weave does move.
The eating places are the BOMB 💣. HOWEVER, I would prefer a host or hostess dat does speak TRINI PATWAH !!!!!
Get with the tines. Ppl from all over the world coming here and love our food but all u could do is bitch about how she speak. U could never please a trini

We have some comedians in this comment section. Mona's is the best ROTI? 🤣 Absolutely NOT. They are ok. I've tasted BETTER from other places in South
