THE GOING GETS TOUGH - EP 84 - Rise of a Titan

Welcome to Rise of a Titan! The Football Manager 2024 save where we start from the bottom and try to work our manager up to the top leagues whilst trying to win a few trophies along the way to becoming one of the great all time managers! We will be starting at the bottom league in the Vanarama National League North with South Shields. It will be a journeyman/ Road to Glory style long term save with hopefully a lot of success involved.
We moved on to Stockport County who were in League One at the time of us taking over and we now find ourselves playing Premier League Football and hunting to get in to European football as well.
We are embarking upon some pivotal games in both our domestic and European seasons and we are looking to make some substantial progress. In the Champions League we take on RB Leipzig, where a win could see us move up in to the top 8 in the league.
It's then all eyes on the Premier League as we take on the current top spot holders Manchester City. A win for us today would take us within closing distance of them within the table whereas defeat could leave us with a mountain to climb in the race for the title.
