We have had testing Arctic weather in Texas all week and have have a house full of family and pets battling power outages staying with us. Tonight I snuck into my quiet bedroom as we still had power and enjoyed your peaceful vlog while knitting. I needed that. I plan to try the bread this weekend when life gets back to normal. Bread, knitting, watercolor painting, lovely. I've been painting too. Making floral, landscapes, wanting to paint some red roofed cottages too, such great relax self-care time.
Do you have favorite watercolor paints? I only have a $12 set from Hobby Lobby, but it has nice pigment and blends well.Would love a bigger set and some metalic watercolors.
Picked up a cute old wooden table easel with a drawer loaded with brushes, $6 at a thrift shop, a kiss from God! Encouraging my kids to take a go at it too. So may great tutorials on CZcams! Only my knitting seems to be suffering.

Loved seeing your everyday cozy winter days! Beyond my work with the bank, I too am enjoying these days knitting, cooking, baking, fluffy the nest, reading and watching the snow fall. Was watching your video while giving my bread dough a second knead before it’s second rise 🥖 - mine is 3/2 spelt to ordinary bread flour and I’m going to try cooking it in a ‘Dutch oven ‘ aka my cast iron casserole. Almost tempted to get out the watercolours to continue the theme but succumbed to hunger pangs and lunch instead!
