Yes Tarkan is Turkish and he is very famous internationally, has many hits like this song, another hit is called KIss Kiss which made him very poplular, nice reaction thanks.
Tarkan is an international artist born in Germany. His best known song is Şımarık which became international hit on its own merit and as "Kiss Kiss" by Stella Soleil and by Holly Valance. Another famous song of his is "Şıkıdım"

@@fatmaaksu7659 he is born in germany, he is living in germany :) and his roots and family are turkish :) and he is a famous turkpop artist in the 90ies and 2000s. in the 2010s he was more a serious artist and writer, he did a very good türk sanat album, wrote many good songs for other artists like Bülent Ersoy.

Hi my friend great reaction! Tarkan Mega star is the king of Turkish pop but the most humble star of Turkey loved by 3-70 year olds.. he has been around since 91-current 21 he is working on his 11th studio album currently.
He is an artist who only brings out a album every 3-5 years. I hope to not listen too the cheesy hit songs that people recommend they where current at the date he brought them out but, still great, he has so many great songs but always people listen too the cheesy ones. My recommendation would be Verme long version. Yak butun fotoraf lari, sorma which is in the Turkish classic genre. He is is classically trained and has a album in classic genre as well as a English album very underrated!

I did not know this artist but i totally love the arabic influences in the music and the sound of his voice. I asked a turkish friend of mine and actually the singer was born in Germany (his parents worked there ) but is a very famous singer in his home country Turkey
I was in holiday in Turkey while the album this came from was just released and sold a million copies in like a couple of weeks! You would hear dudu everywhere.

I have his English cd called ''Come closer'',but never had a big impact on me. He was appreciated years ago here,in Romania and had some concerts.I like a couple of songs,but oriental sounds never been my cup of coffee.The first album named Tarkan and the second,Dudu are way better.He does it better in Turkish .
Hope for a new album soon,last one titled -10- was released 5 years ago...
