- It's not good enough but i can't do better so i'm posting it anyway. This is again me scratching to a loop from ugly ducklings track. The record i use is JS1 "Scratch Roulette". My set up is Gemini UMX-5 mixer and Vestax PDX2000 mk2 turntable.

man, i'm watching this with my coffee and i really enjoy it. just 6 minutes of straight fire. gotta reincarnate my old battle mixer and start to scratch.
I always come back to this vid when I need inspiration and motivation. Thank you.
That satisfying fader click
I listen to this almost every night when going to sleep. Love it.
Bang !
Yahhhhhhhhh!
very nice!;)
Nice n clean scratch mix 👍😎
cool
Nice, i like it!
Get in man! Loved it
Very nice
This is nice scratching bro
@tilidin crossfader, cuts between having the left, right, or both channels on. Aside from record it's your primary tool scratching, that's how you get all the different sounding scratches. It's what you use to start and stop the sound, sort of punctuate your scratching. Look up a couple scratch tutorial videos and it'll make sense as the techniques are explained.
Super
This shit is raw
shit is wild man. hope I can get that good
Rane blows vestax out of the water. I used a vestax 05 II for 5 years, then a vestax 05 III for 5 more, then I tried Rane...NEVER GOING BACK
just got one of those tables. need a tonearm and cables. cool bro!
@Darryliscool I like that hahah
We listen to similar music
very nice!! d -_- b
But I have to say your scratching is on point
Awesome performance
very, very good cuz. im at that point myself, and ur making tha most out of what u know...very good!
excelente man!!
What stylus u using?
whats the scratch record?
Also whats the "going rate" for a 2nd hand PDX2000 and how does it compare to 1200's?
sorry for all the questions, made cuts man!
the curve is very sharp and the cut in point is decent. its far from rane but its almost the same like in vestax pmc II pro mk2, or any vestax made in the same time as this gemini. the cut in point is even better than in vastax. and the faders are very smooth as well. but these are short body alphas so not as heavy/durable as vestax ones.
I dont usually give props. But this is fresh. How come your needles dont skip? Let me know man
sweetness
@PotLogicbeats no bleeding or anything. only getting really stiff after few years. but thats probably because i never sprayed it with any lube
scratch roulette vol.1
@PotLogicbeats Yeah. it's discontinued. Gemini usually do shit but some series are well built.
Good job, good technique, as you have an UMX 5, know you if one to integrate(join) the pro x fade of eclectic Breaks in this mixer? And it is always the cross to fader gemini of origin or the new CROSSFADER RG-45 UMX?
hot stuff
Hey, your good :)
i like that )))
I know this is a really old video ,I just came across it ,my question is how long did you practice to get to this point when this video was made
Mostly a metal or punk guy, was jut looking it up because i thought it sounded cool. But was wondering what is the slider he is working with. I assumed it was a volume lever but wanted to know for sure, thanks in advance.
well. i'm using ortofon proS which isn't even made for scratching purpose. The weight on it is bout 4g. Shures are at 3-3.5g should be fine. Does you platter wobble? Mine (and is quite usuall for all the pdx decks) has quite loose fitting and it wobbles and swings a lot. But it's ok for scratching in my case. Maybe yours wobbles even more and this may be the reason.
Dont shit on urself, that wasn't bad at all. Good bpm for freestyling and didnt rot out on any samples.
good:))
is this volume one or two
I love the gemini version of the 06 pro...seems like the fader is nice though
@TheEmceehero One. I use one turntable.
What Ugly Duckling track are you using for the loop?
Anyone name the record he's scratching with? Peace✌🏻
DJ JS 1 - Scratch Roulette, the best vinyl for scratch
Nothing compares to Vestax. Not even Rane.
you need to learn some more patterns. but the rhythm is on point.

you need proper turntable with proper needle on it, and properly adjusted, you also need a proper mixer with good fader, otherwise - no joy
cut
No. She doesn't.
try ebay
The rapper in that track has a horrible stuttering problem.
I thought it was pretty good man, you should def stick to your style.
