- NELSON | Over 48 hours we explore the Nelson region, from its quirky city to the quiet shores of Golden Bay. Being the oldest city in New Zealand's South Island, Nelson has a lot of history and culture. It's also home to the 'centre' of New Zealand! In this video, we spend day 1 exploring the marina and the city of Nelson, before exploring further afield on day 2 to the Golden Bay area, a location we quickly fell in love with!

I had a summer with my mother's sister's family in Motueka when I was 17 years old. Did the Able Tasman with my cousins. I'll never forget those golden beaches and the people I met. Some are still friends today 40 years later. Even my cousins😊
