Yes, definitely please do another video on mathseeds! Ive been looking into using reading eggs as our only math and reading programme. Its very hard to get my son engaged expecially with books because of adhd and dyslexia but with learning app games he doesnt even realise hes learning and hes so eager to do more so im thinking reading eggs will be a great fit. Are you using it on ipad? Im thinking of investing in one for him but perharps any tablet will work? Have you found it so far to be thorough when it comes to letter sounds and blending? Im also unsure as to whether to get the books or just print off the free sheets, can you share why you chose the books and how many pages do they need to complete each lesson. He wont be a willing participant in paper work haha but i want a little just to get some pen to paper. Also does it cover grammar? I havent found an answer to that on thei channel
Hi!! Yes we have a family IPad that everyone shares. The
Program is great because it’s one app but you can load different profiles for different children. My kids don’t realize their learning either, although there is a little quiz at the end of each lesson! Yes it does cover grammar too!! They focused on parts of speech, nouns, verbs, adjectives this year. I have definitely heard of families using this as their sole curriculum. It covers A LOT. I will do a video for the math seeds program too! We do the books but they are definitely not necessary. I just noticed my daughter was flying through the lessons so I bought the books from their website just to have an extra accountability piece for my daughter. Khan Academy is another online one we like to use and it’s free!!
Looks like the app does a great job with reading. What do you use for writing stories, etc?
