[VAN RENOVATION EP4] - VW CALIFORNIA T4

Welcome to Episode 4 of our new Van Renovation Series!
Our previous van project did not go as planned at all.. You can find the videos in our playlist "Van Build Series".
So now we have our new van, call it our plan B, to work on.
We will spend the next weeks giving this beautiful Volkswagen California Coach T4 a total makeover before we "move in" to live in it full time.
In this episode we did:
- Painted kitchen sink and tap in a black matte rim paint
- Painted more plastic parts in a white creme Bengalack
- Painted the front and rear bumper in a black plastic paint
- Mounted our new vinyl floor

One question: How did you take of the original floor from the wooden floor panel? It would like to do the same thing but it seems glued to the panel?! That would help me out a lot. thank you.

Thanks! I guess you already know the “bench” is movable and you slide it back and forth to make the bed.
So, you have to slide it all the way to the front, then you tilt and lift it out of the “tracks”. Need 2 people to lift it. Good luck!
