I can't believe that such a killer performance only has 74k views. Joe has to be the most underrated artists on the planet. I really enjoyed how he gave the background singers a chance to shine and they were amazing.
ANY of Joe's Red Rocks performances are amazing. Muddy Wolf comes to mind first. This combination of the entire ensemble is just perfect, from the tight rhythm section to the horns to the AMAZING ladies and of course Joe's slick guitar work on top. ALWAYS first class!!!

Thank you JOE, the Man, for finally letting those fantastically talented gals get the spotlight that have been used by Clapton and Gilmour for years as props. Those gals are GREAT!!! All three of them could have starred with their own backup band…and I’ll marry the one in the middle in a heart beat if she’s reading this, but I’m just the bass player. Bonamassa IS the Man.

I saw him in Chattanooga TN that year and they played this exact rendition of slow train. It's one of my favorite tracks of Joe's and the girls brought such a great new element to it along with the Jazz band feel.

It's my favorite Joey B video on CZcams. Everyone is on point. There's three other versions on CZcams w/o the ladies. One is acoustic which is very good. I believe Joe plays two different Gibson guitars in the others. A firebird in one, and I didn't catch the other one. All 4 are worth watching with a great cast of musicians, too.
