My Coming Out Story (Part 1)

For my first CZcams video, I wanted to honor National Coming Out Day, a celebration of coming out as LGBTQI (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning, and intersex). Coming out is a difficult process for many of us. Fear and anxiety pollute our thoughts, leaving us to critically examine our self-worth, and even our will to live. We bombard ourselves with never ending questions. Will this person accept me? Will I be loved? Will I have support? It’s an internal battle against shame, guilt, and anger that many of us fight our entire lives-often alone and scared.
