I used my rug latch hook for putting on the tassels and it was so much easier.

I really love this little basket but I need one that is bigger to hold works in progress. How would you go about making it bigger around?
I would assume that you would just make the base bigger by adding more increase rows. You would just add more half double crochets such as 5 in the first 5 stitches followed by 2 in the next stitch and then 6 etc. until you have rather size you want. Hope this help.
I could only find 4mm.so what size hook should I use?

That's a Furls Odyssey crochet hook 😍 Sadly, they were discontinued last year.
I purchased the same cord as you and it says 109 yards and I used same hook and done the same as you have. And I ran out of cord I got to the 19 row and about 21 stitches before running out . So I’ll have to rip back and mine will be a shorter basket .
