    on my ship the preheater pump discharge pressure was 1.8-2bar, and we use steam of 4 bar. so how jcw will go into steam side?

      Pratik bhai, We are throttling steam to crack open hence it's pressure falls below jacket water pressure

    brother, the jacket cooling system has a deaerator tank. Whats inside this deaerator tank? can you give us a video? i have never seen the inside of it.

    During maneuvering, once Main engine starts,we crack open 1 TK heating..so condensate will come into the cascade TK...my remedy for that is b4 departure, I only fill up cascade TK 70%...once going to overflow I make blowdown little bit...

    If there is no rupture in the steam preheater line then also their is a cascade tank overflow during maneuvering what are the probable reason please reply.

      The other reasons are also applicable, but since the ques is of Maneuvering, then focus on rupture point.
      I will try to find out if there is any other reason apart from rupture..

      One more which normally occurrs , a
      At Port all tank heating and dump steam lines are shut,so water level goes down in hotwell and water is topped up , during maneuvering we use to open these valves one by one as boiler is running and economiser is also in use, So water which was condensed in lines , and dump condenser will now come in the system and it will overflow the hotwell.
